Three new TV spots for Logan have shown up today, and while the second and third are mostly comprised of familiar footage, the first shows X-23 performing some killer moves alongside Wolverine. The others are still worth a watch, though, especially as the title cards indicate that Laura is pivotal to saving the mutant race. Why that is remains to be seen, but that could point to an optimistic ending. 
There are just weeks to go until Logan is released and the review embargo lifts fairly soon, so expect to hear much more about the movie soon. With any luck, the TV spots won't get too spoiler-y from here.

Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, and Patrick Stewart. It's currently set to be released on March 3rd, 2017, so stick to CBM for updates.

I just noticed the brief scene of a bunch of kids running alongside X-23 at the 0:11 second mark. When Professor X says "there's more of them" is he referring to these kids?

Are there a collective of Weapon X kids being experimented on?

Worrying that I may be disappointed by this. Just been thinking a lot lately, about how Wolverine has been handled by Fox. Honestly, besides Hugh's performance, its been meh.

Fox embraced Wolverine as a leading character in the X-Men, despite the fact that he's arguably not in the comics, and gave the character a few solo outings. You'd think, they'd make the most out of his mythology but they didn't. They couldn't crack his hallowed origin and his DEFINITIVE Japan Saga story-line. They barely gave either take on those two stories any imagination imo.

I'm inclined to think they won't nail this completely. No matter how much Mangold pretentiously talks up the film's subversiveness compared to other current superhero films. But I hope I'm proven wrong because I'm a huge Wolverine fan.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Wolverine fan here as well, use to be my favorite, especially since I'm Canadian. But yeah, aside from Hugh's performance, the character is boring for the most part. They've barely done anything interesting with him or given him that much growth, now I'm just scared they're going to rely on violence to make him interesting this time around with the R-rating. But that clip they released recently, instilled me with more faith that he'll be likable.

@ScarletWarlock - Its taken them 3 FILMS to attempt and give him a DEFINITIVE CINEMATIC SHOWCASE.

The Wolverine is a solid flick, but when I really think about it, the story was pedestrian for a character like Wolverine.

The Japan Saga graphic novel, gives us an extremely thought-provoking and heartwarming tale about Wolverine’s romance with Mariko and his inner struggles with dealing with his “animal” side. I loved the way that Chris Claremont has shown us a more sensitive side to Wolverine as he struggles to get the love of his life back while dealing with the customs of her family, which the importance of honor and pride plays a huge role in his story. I also loved the intense kung-fu atmosphere of this story as it gave this story a more creative approach to Wolverine’s time in Japan and made the story exciting to read through. Chris Claremont has done an excellent job at writing this story from Wolverine’s point of view on the situation as we are able to see how Wolverine reacts to the situations he gets involved in Japan whether he is confessing his love for Mariko or fighting ninjas out to get him. It was also interesting seeing how Wolverine viewed himself and Chris Claremont does a brilliant job at portraying Wolverine’s insecurity about being seen as an animal as he usually uses violence to solve his problems.

The Wolverine merely glosses over or briefly attacks a lot of this. Mariko and Wolverine have a hallowed history but the film decides to modernize the story and make her some chick he just happens to warm up to.

I thought The Wolverine should've taken place in the past. Took more form the source material. A lot more. Japan is RICH and MEANINGFUL place for LOGAN and he has a storied history there.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Yeah, it seems the only think they really took from the story was that he bangs an Asian chick, goes to Japan, and don't forget there's ninjas. Even with the story they DID go with, they wasted all the storytelling material. And it is pedestrian, I think even more pedestrian than one of the most mediocre MCU films. It honestly felt like a T.V. movie action movie at times. I mean, the whole driving force for him even bothering in the third act to do anything heroic is because Mariko, the way too young Asian girl he banged once and barely knew, is kidnapped, so he's like, I'll save her. There's just nothing to it for me. Huge waste of a story. And it wasn't even fun; how is a movie where Wolverine fights ninjas not at the very least fun to watch. Just...aghhh.

I know it isn't really an authentic source (and apologies if it has already been discussed) but in searching for more info after ScarletWarlock's post about the Inhumans I came across an IMDB casting which says Elysia Rotaru is playing Medusa.
