According to Deadline, 20th Century Fox are now taking aim at finding a female lead for Gambit. Channing Tatum very nearly dropped out of the project recently, but after getting a pay increase from the studio, he soon signed on the dotted line! So, who will be starring alongside the Magic Mike and Jump Street star in the X-Men spinoff and who are they playing? Apparently the character is Bella Donna Boudreaux, a Jim Lee creation who was the daughter of the leader of the New Orleans Assassins' Guild, a group Gambit ends up clashing with as a member of the Thrives guild.

Those currently in the mix to play her are Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation), Lea Seydoux (Spectre), and Abbey Lee (Mad Max: Fury Road). That's an interesting mixture, and it'll be hard to complain about whoever they end up choosing. I'd personally prefer to see Ferguson pay Captain Marvel to be honest! What do you guys think? As always, let us know your thoughts below.
