@puyguy

I don't think another 10 yrs is possible. The contract btwn Fox and Marvel was for 10 yrs. Fox was about to lose the rights to X-men so they put FC together. So Fox decided to extend their contract for another 5 years. It makes sense since they are planning a trilogy with this prequel. So this whole Marvel ain't getting the rights back is kinda ridiculous. Contracts do have an expiration date.

I think it's funny how one of the reviews in the trailer is by Fox Tv. That's sad.

Why do people post "Oh I'm not gonna support FOX"?

Who cares? They're not reading it, no one on this site cares if you support them or not.

Going down from 98 to 85% is still pretty damn good. 85/100 is a B.

X-Men can suck it; Captain America is a better film by comparision.

@everyone else overeacting marvel72 comment

Wow, you guys are quick to defend this movie when he posted those statistics. That tells me you guys are worried that the movie might fail, even though the reviews were good.
Talk about irony here :D

lmao @PuyGuy why argue on the internet dude?... I agree though that its better than Thor and more memorable than any other movie that came out for this year so far, because Marvel sets all their movies up for a franchise and countless sequels, I bet saving their best ideas for other movies. What Vaughn did with this was epic because it felt like a stand alone movie and not the opening for a sequel, even though it shows there will be more First Classes in the movie, lol, plus we already know the basic story of the characters in Thor etc. for First Class we went in not knowing what they will do with these random characters... and they they honestly made them work, except Angel, she was the "why is she here?". Captain America is the movie I'm looking forward to the most for this year, though I know it won't be memorable like First Class or Transformers because although its his origin story we know its just the movie that will set up Avengers.. Next year however, not even the Dark Knight sequel or Superman will compare to Avengers... even though I'm more of a DC fan :/

@BaneKill
Hey its my opinion that the supporters of First Class thinks the movie will fail. I didn't say that the movie sucks. What kind of crack are you on?

And seriously, I just read the entire plot for First Class on Wikipedia. It was alright, but the plot wasn't all that impressive in my opinion.
The reason I say that Captain America is a better film than First Class is because 1) Puy Guy is an idiot, so I give him a taste of his own medicine by saying one film is better than the other and 2) I am more exited for the Captain America movie than First Class (I always thought that Captain America kicked more asses than than the X-Men could in my opinion).

As for Joe Johnson doing Captain America, just because Wolfman sucks (even though I was impressed by the special effects and plot behind it) doesn't mean he isn't right for the movie. He is known for doing good period based films like The Rocketeer, October Sky and Hidalgo. If he does the same thing with Captain America, than that movie is truly indeed going to be a great movie. Especially the writers, those are the guys who did those Narnia films; and I thought those movies were really great adaptions.

So yeah, X-Men can suck it; I am going with Captain America.

In my opinion, which i think others will share is that first class is an awesome X-men movie, a big surprise from fox, i had my doubts. The film indeed have a James Bond feel to it, which i thought worked well. No characters were left unexplained i don't think, except for Azazel and the 'Tornado Guy' (don't know his name), which wasn't a big issue. Michael and James delivered great performances but i feel Fassbender stole the show! Vaughn has done really well with this, my favourite X-men film so far. Oh and i think SPOILER:.......Wolverine's cameo was near perfect and Jackman was finally sporting a Wolverine haircut that wasn't laughable.
