I know there have been/are rumors floating around that the next X-Men movie will be a "teen" x-men movie. Since "they" decided to kill off half of the x-men in the last stand i think it will be a very good movie if its done right, keeping the same cast and keeping one of the older charaters as a guide of sorts, wolverine perhaps. Like X-Men Evolution but differnt charaters. X-Men can be good for 10 or more years of movies between the orgin movies and X-Men team movies. As far as the origins wolverine is a good start, magneto would probably be good but at that point your guess is as good as mine who would be next. Any way that is my suggestion.

I think that it was lame how the killed off cyclops and others. Therefore they should make it that it never happened with The Time travelers such as Bishop. This would erase the whole killing of cyclops and bring in the virus and the sentinals. Therefore the first 3 movies are Brotherhood, then Sentinals, and finish it with Apocalypse.

I think this is a perfect transition to the Hellfire club - we can bring in the White Queen and all, a good way to bring Jean back
BUT - That was the last plot, right/. someone trying to control her powers
Like I have posted before, Im not sure the outer space angle with the Shiar would translate well
I think they cuold totally transition these films through the years - you can kill off cahracters, have them enter a darker time, etc
They could come back with Gambit, Beast, more ? maybe a beigger role for Iceman?
I think the Sentinals are a big angle - because they haven't really explored how much they are feared - the seocond one dealt with that, but not enough - they made it look like it was one crazy mans plot using fear to break the law - instead of an overall widespread panick throughout human kind
The Sentinals can traition to a number of things - apocalypse, Genosha, Asteriod M, Days of Future Past - they could even use the future as part of a movie to introduce Cable or Bishop, have a whole new angle on the franchise, even, if Marvel Movies were widly successful, eventually introduce the x-men traitor storyline, which ends up being Prof X/ Onslaught - which could be a movie in itself with Iron Man, the Fant 4, and the avengers
I mean heck - why not dream big - Marvel should never have trouble making new movies - they have too much material - and a HUGE, thirsty fan base

i think what should happen is we all know Phoenix, Cyclops, and the professor didn't die so they comeback somehow sinister could be in the fourth. apocalypse in a fifth and just for the hell of it because after that time avengers will be out and we could have Onslaught in a sixth bring in the x-men and the avengers. oh and if the do make a fourth get rid of berry please for the love of god she didn't even have the African accent in any of the movies and we all know Storm is an African Goddess and for pete's sakes pitor should have a bigger part with an actual russian accent jeebus!!!

There are 2 things the X franchise should avoid at all costs, and those are Outer Space and anything to do with time travel. These concepts are cool in the comics, Bishop is a cool character, and Cable is one of my Favorite hero's of all time, but they just won't work in a movie. Its the same reason noone is runnin around in yellow spandex. Bishop could be incorperated some different way but it would cheapen Cable. What they should do is a Mutant Massacre Story, which would easily allow for Gambit as well as more important roles for Colossus and Shadowcat, a possible return for Nightcrawler, and a new villain, which this Franchise needs like a crackhead needs his fix. Mr. Sinister would up the threat level and make for a darker tone. The only other really good route I see is a "The Xtinction Agenda" and "Operation: Zero Tolerance" combination story. That could easily be intertwined and satisfy the Sentinel demands as well as the Genosha demand.

Comic book fans know they didn’t kill them off but most people thought they did. You know this when someone not a comic fan ask you why did they kill off Xavier. A reboot would be interesting after a few years but its obvious they are going to keep doing Wolverine movies as long as they can with Jackman, the "world’s sexiest man". Now that TDK has blown up the way it has i can see them doing a reboot doing it all dark but who knows. On a side note, I don’t know about anyone else but I am very wary on the choice to play Saber tooth in the up coming movie, same size and look as Wolverine? I guess we will see...

"I don’t know about anyone else but I am very wary on the choice to play Saber tooth in the up coming movie, same size and look as Wolverine?"

A disaster waiting to happen. WTF how hard would it have been to dye Sabertooths hair blonde? Make him Look like Sabertooth. Why are we (the comic fans) made to suffer so with moronic oversites or indifferences of big studios and WHY does Marvel let them get away with it?

As for X4, personally I would love to see a darker movie. Yes to Mr. Sinister. Angel losing his wings and being reborn as Arch-Angel? Import Gambit from the Wolverine movie over as well. Get a new Colossus (one with a Russian accent please). In fact...a total recast of existing X-Men would be most appreciated in my book.

i thinks Ellen Page as Shadowcat and Ben Foster as Angel works fine, as for Sean Ashmore we may as well keep him since he was in the first 3. Finding a new Colossus, assuming the current one can't act (which since he has no dialogue we don't really know)might be fine.

MORE COLOSSUS, BEAST AND ANGEL

best characters from X3 practically ignored for 90% of the film
it was pretty much a sexual experience for me watching beast go into battle. please make more
and what the hell happened to Nightcrawler, the best part of Xmen 2???

Yes to Sinsiter. I think that would bring the "cheesiness" that was The Last Stand to a screeching halt. I like the idea of a Mutant Massacre. Use the Morlocks and Gambit maybe, although they did kill off Callisto, but was it Callisto, really?

The Magneto thing needs to take a back seat for a while. Maybe really establish the Brotherhood as a threat, with Mystique leading them. Bring back Toad, Sabretooth, add Quicksilver, Avalanche and such.

And yes, we need Nightcrawler back in the mix.
