I trust Mangold more than I trust Jackman at this point.

I can't even begin to imagine what Aronofsky would've done with this but, GO MANGOLD!!!!LoL

I hate to be 'that guy', but I've already given the wolverine movies all the time and money that I'm going to. Steering clear of this film. There are better X-Men to make movies about.

Ok, the picture where he's standing in the pit with bone claws he's got short hair. I assumed that was WWII prison camp. In the above shots his hair looks the same with metal claws. What in tarnations is going on?

@Newbus flashbacks. The movie is supposed to take place in present time, but with the WWII picks, and the announcement that Jean Grey will make an appearance there is obviously flashbacks in the film.

@FriendlyJoShFest I have no idea what your talking about. His question was why in the WWII pic he has bone claws. And I answered his question. This is a stand alone film and has nothing to do with the Origin film. Look up everything to do with The Wolverine movie to catch you up to speed ;)

Nah I vote for him to make a cameo in his Black X-Force suit.

He should find his signature costume here, it won't look campy if they give it the right interpretation like this:

The sad thing is. Those ninjas look nothing like the real thing. Factoid: ninja actually wore a dark blue-colored suit because black gave too distinct an outline. The blue blended more. I just came back from the birthplace of the Iga Ninja (most famous), so I know what I'm talkin bout, Willis.

Why would The Wolverine detail rundown at the end of the article say 'directed by James Mangold (Knight and Day)?' I mean, that's easily his worst movie and the guy has made a few really good ones, like 3:10 to Yuma or Walk the Line, that would look much better in the brackets. Just sayin'.
Ryguy88
Ryguy88 - 11/1/2012, 2:47 PM
Can someone please explain to me what reason a movie like this would have to put Wolverine in a yellow or tan suit? I understand they look cool but he's not trying to conceal his identity and most tough guys stay away from spandex.

I could see a brown and tan samurai outfit that slightly resembles the comic's version but that's about it.

Hmmm.. not liking the look of the Ninja, traditional shinobi shozoku were generally earthy colours, not black. Also their leather biker jackets looks a bit crap.

Movie looks okay, I dunno, I just can't get excited about it.
