Ryan Reynolds Likes it Violent and Dirty

Not like that! Get your mind out of the gutter. Ryan Reynolds likes "brutal, rugged and ugly" violence in movies.

Ryan Reynolds is the X-Men Origins: Wolverine actor who plays merc with a mouth (make that Merc without a mouth) Wade Wilson aka Deadpool in the forthcoming superhero movie. He admits one of the main reasons he starred in it was because it is so bloody.

He said: "You're not going to see Kill Bill-style blood geysering up from severed heads! But I think you're going to see a kind of violence that's a little more brutal, rugged and ugly. Which is one of the things I liked about it."

Reynolds did all his own stunts in the movie. So basically he had to learn swordsmanship, and martial arts before filming, he expresses his hopes that audiences will be impressed with his new skills.

"I trained for months to master the sword work, so he's obviously a master swordsman but he's also an accomplished fighter. There's martial arts, weaponry, everything. He's a guy you don't want to mess with."

"This character is like a surgeon. I've got to be so good with these swords that I put people's jaws on the floor."

Ryan is a huge fan of the comic his character is based upon, and revealed reading the picture-based stories actually gave him one of the happiest moments of his life.

"I remember when I was younger, I found one that I was actually mentioned in. Deadpool said that he looks a lot like a Shar-Pei crossed with Ryan Reynolds. I thought that was just the coolest thing that had ever happened."

Weill Minotauro, he claims he did his own stunts. Scott Adkins played Barakapool at the end.

"barakapool" i like that. i don't know a ton about renolds outside of his movies so forgive me if i am wrong. i believe renolds did train for months with swords his acting shows it, but i highly doubt he is any kind of "master swordsman", maybe on a surperfical hollywood level he is, but doing some sword flipp'n isn't hard, i was doing crap like that when i was 12yrs, chakus too. any good actor learns enough weaponary or martial arts to act the part. but still it looks cool. example look at elektra in daredevil, Garner trained to get her body into shape for the part but all she did was some sai flipp'n whiched looked cool but all show.
please don't get me wrong i love renolds ever since "2 guys a girl and a pizza place" berg was sweet.

Yeah it took martial arts since I was about 10, and I'm no swords master, I can use a katanna, but I'm no master. He did it for a few months. But i think he was refering to Deadpool being a master, not himself, at least I hope he isn't that arrogant.

LEEE7 do you think if he could have made this character the right way he would have the truth is he probably had no creative control. i wish they would have saved him for a real deadpool movie then he could do the character the right way

Reynolds lean martial arts first for Blade Trinity actually. Here he learn swordsmanship

CRAZYISH @ Cool name by the way! ... Im sure Reynolds had some control of who he's playing, most actors do! Also they have saved him for a REAL DEADPOOL movie, the spin off! Hopefully that's why he played him in WOLVERINE because, he's gonna do a more true to the character DEADPOOL! An as hes the STAR of it,and a fan, im sure we will see a much better DEADPOOL! Plus with everyone hating the way DEADPOOL is in the movie, im sure FOX has taken note, they ain't gonna do a whole film of DEADPOOL that everyone thinks is lame lol!
