Where will Wolvie go next?

After Xmen Origins, where would you fans like to see old canuckleheads movie adventures take him?

Weve seen him in 3 (soon to be 4) movies, and depending on the success of his latest screen outing, theres bound to be more. But whats next for Wolverine?

Hugh Jackman favours the Japanese storyline:
"I’ve always harboured the Japanese story [Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's version of Wolverine].

When I was doing X-Men I was obsessed with reading the Japanese story. It gave me a lot of great inspiration for the character and I’ve forever been banging onto people about that.

It’s the coolest – and can you imagine visually? I can see the comedy of him training with the Samurai. I can just see it working"

Its certainly a gripping story. But many fans (myself included!) would love to see a movie set after the events of The Last Stand. My personal favourite storyline featuring Logan has always been the mutant massacre. This would be a good way to again feature Sabertooth and Gambit(sort of!), as well as Thor!

Theres lots of great stories out there, what do you guys think?

The Japanese story archs would be cool if Hugh Jackman can pull of the acting. I see him more as a constant brawler tough guy, not the meditating and samarai training type.

But there are millions of stories to choose from since Wolverine is EVERYWHERE in the Marvel universe.

The story line I would like to see but never will is when Dr. Strange, Ghost Rider, Spider-man and Wolverine 'become' the Fantastic Four essentially just to hunt down Johnny Storm after burning down a University. Would be an insane battle between the original FF and these heroes and could be feasable after the Dr. Strange movie is created.
However it will never come for oh so many reasons but seeing that story arch in live action would be amazing.

ive never read that story but it sounds awesome. i wouldnt worry about jackmans acting chops..check out the fountain and the prestige..this guy is an all rounder.

i would love to see a wolverine vs hulk live action movie. they have clashed on a few occasions in the comics but even a brand new story would be cool

He is an all around kinda guy. The Fountain, Prestige, Swordfish, all great stuff. He's a wonderufl actor. The "New" FF was cool as shyte!

You need to have Logan go to Japan and get broken like a wild horse! All for his love "Yuriko". Wouldn't be bad to have Deadpool and Gambit tag along either.

i know, he is pretty awful. hes one of those characters that the writers are just happy to keep as a complete tool!
