When Fox was releasing the X-Men movies, we didn't really see much in the way of merchandise (or anything at all, really). Well, that's changing now Disney is in charge, and there's been a notable increase in toys featuring comic book versions of both that mutant team and the Fantastic Four.
Not too long ago, we learned that Hasbo is releasing Marvel Legends action figures featuring characters from those early X-Men movies, but an entire range of Funko Pops based on the franchise have now been unveiled. This is a stark contrast to the past few years, as you couldn't find Pops for movies like Dark Phoenix or Logan for love or money.
There's an interesting variety here; as you can see below, we have Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto, Storm and Mystique from X-Men. Then, there's Nightcrawler from X2, and Cyclops, another Wolverine, Dark Phoenix, Rogue, and Beast from the widely panned X-Men: The Last Stand.
Only one character from the prequels gets the spotlight, and that's a young Magneto.
There's definitely something for everyone here, though, and assuming these are well-received, we can likely expect even more to come (especially when the X-Men reboot is still a long way off).
