Are These The Characters That'll Make Up The Team In The X-FORCE Movie?

As far as we know, Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow is still working on an X-Force script for Fox and now thanks to some concept art, we may have found out which five Marvel heroes will make up the team.

Apparently the X-Force concept art below from Gregory Semkow features the "team's lineup in the script" from writer/director Jeff Wadlow. As you can see we have Cable, Domino, Warpath, Cannonball blasting away in the background, and a mysterious female character.

It's been speculated that this could be Rogue or Hope Summers, but my guess is it's supposed to be either Boom Boom/Boomer, or a more human looking take on Feral. We've heard that Deadpool - who was originally conceived as an X-Force/New Mutants villain - is also in the script but he's obviously not featured here.

Wadlow has previously hinted that the roster would be mostly made up of mainstays from the original incarnation of X-Force, and this would seem to confirm as much - though it is all subject to change, and chances are these won't be the only characters featured anyway.

Would you be happy with this line-up, or are you hoping for a few faces from Rick Remender's more recent run?

Cable couldn't be a more 90's comic character if he wore chains.

Doubt it would be Rogue.
I like this lineup but I'd hope cable was a little more older.

That's definitely Feral in the hoodie
The fur on her arms
The claw hands
The white streak
White pupils
And she seemed to have the hoodie over her head, covering her mutation

It would be rad if Colossus was a main member as well. Deadpool cameo would be icing on the cake.

Rob Liefield confirmed that Deadpool is in the X-Force script.

I think Deadpool is probably a cameo or playing some kindve supporting character in the film, but he probably won't be a part of the team.

Looks pretty nice
Concept arts tend to look better than the final, so...

Was just about to say exactly that, It's Warpaths Brother, not Warpath..Mind you, he did start out as Thunderbird II, right? Maybe they'll see him change his codename to Warpath in the movie?

Nice to finally see some bigscreen incarnation
Of these cult favorite characters. Cable looks spot-on except he should be bulkier (6'8" 350lbs.) As well Warpath should be bulkier. Domino and Feral's looks are a nice homage to their comic costumes, and they look sexy yet deadly at the same time. Hoping they follow Deadpool's lead with this film and not the path of Singer's Foxmen . This has tremendous potential .

How beautiful is this artwork. Same as the Xmen trading cards from the 90's.

is there not a chance that could be Rictor instead of Warpath?

Why is Peter Griffin NOT Cable?

This makes me regret giving all of my boxes of xmen trading cards away in the 90's. I never thought I'd see the day we'd see Cable on screen. We certainly live in the good timeline.

Well if they make his film with the same heart that they used to make the Deadpool movie we could actually be starting a legit X-Men universe in the vein of the comics! FINALLY!

@SimplyAz

It's beautiful until you realise how disproportionate all the characters are and how they all have the same face and then it goes from beautiful to completely [frick]ed up full retard faster than you can say Rob Liefelds an overpaid hack. But the colours are pretty I suppose.

@simplyaz . The 90's X-men trading card series was my fave! They were drawn by Jim Lee.

@OdinsMissingEye Yep the guys look like they've been injecting Synthol into their arms but it has a 90's outrageousness to it and kind of works, the vividness of the colours makes it stand out.

@SimpleeComplex He is a great artist, I'm pretty sure my mum would have thrown them out but I wish I would have kept them and could still look at them now.

I imagine this is still very much in flux. I think if Psylocke and Archangel are well received they'll be in there for sake of synergy. I imagine Deadpool will pop in to all movies depending on how that movie is received. Honestly, I don't care as long as I get Blink back in this universe.
