Bryan Singer's X2 Scribes Back For X-MEN: APOCALYPSE
With Bryan Singer returning to helm X-Men: Apocalypse, the Days of Future Past director has teased development on the 2016 sequel, revealing its familiar writing team. Check it out after the jump!
X-Men: Days of Future Past doesn't hit theaters for another five months, and already Bryan Singer is teasing further X-Men: Apocalypse development on Twitter, where the director announced the 2016 sequel earlier this month. "Late night #XMen #Apocalypse story session. #SimonKinberg @DanimalHarris @Mike_Dougherty It's snowing in Egypt!" the tweet read. Included is a photo of Singer and Days of Future Past scribe Simon Kinberg, who 20th Century Fox tapped recently to pen a rewrite of The Fantastic Four reboot, and help create their own shared Marvel Cinematic universe.
Also featured in the Twitter post are screenwriters Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty, who wrote the screenplay for Bryan Singer's first X-Men sequel (2003) and his Superman Returns film (2006). Anyhow, with X-Men: Apocalypse set to hit theaters on May 26, 2016, the film is expected to be set up in the closing moments of X-Men: Days of Future Past on May 23, 2014. What do you think?
