X-Men: Days of Future Past doesn't hit theaters for another five months, and already Bryan Singer is teasing further X-Men: Apocalypse development on Twitter, where the director announced the 2016 sequel earlier this month. "Late night #XMen #Apocalypse story session. #SimonKinberg @DanimalHarris @Mike_Dougherty It's snowing in Egypt!" the tweet read. Included is a photo of Singer and Days of Future Past scribe Simon Kinberg, who 20th Century Fox tapped recently to pen a rewrite of The Fantastic Four reboot, and help create their own shared Marvel Cinematic universe.

Also featured in the Twitter post are screenwriters Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty, who wrote the screenplay for Bryan Singer's first X-Men sequel (2003) and his Superman Returns film (2006). Anyhow, with X-Men: Apocalypse set to hit theaters on May 26, 2016, the film is expected to be set up in the closing moments of X-Men: Days of Future Past on May 23, 2014. What do you think?

Forgot to write in tweet, "Actually just brainstorming incredible ideas on how to ruin Apocalypse, drew concept art of him in Robin Hood tights complete with bow and arrow! Guy from Twilight a good choice?"

I don't see ANYTHING wrong with Singer keeping fans updated with how he's handling his X-Men Universe?! If the man wants to tweet what he's doing to keep "fans" of the franchise updated what harm is there in that? lol Like seriously? I think more directors should do the same honestly. It seems like we only hear from them on the special screening of their film and a few interviews here and there so where's the conflict in this?

I'm really looking forward towards seeing just how X-Men: Apocalypse plays out and I'm even more excited towards seeing some special X-Men return to this franchise. I'm assuming it'll be set in the 80's this go around so that's something both visually and environmentally stunning to look forward to.

Cyclops
Jean Grey
Beast
Storm

Should all be in this film with an inclusion of a few others as well! Can't wait! Do your thing Singer!

HERE'S TEST FOOTAGE OF SINGER'S VISION FOR APOCALYPSE!!

It's either that, or it's one of Gusto's "clients" "auditioning" for the Magic Mike film.

@Roykn

I honestly think it's hinting at Storm whipping up some cool weather in Egypt against Apocalypse during the day. Or perhaps whatever Apocalypse's plans are is causing strange weather patterns and etc? Who knows *shrugs*

Egypt, huh? as in place where Apocalypse comes from?
I'm hoping they go that route instead of the previously rumored alien background

no exactly big news they are Singer personal team of choice and most important,
they usually write what SINGER WANTS INTO THE STORY.
that's why we got SUPERMAN RETURNS.

I'm angry that Michael Clarke Duncan had to go. This was his role....in my eyes.

And that's most def a Storm hint. Maybe Shadow King will play a role in this film
