The South Beach Deck parking lot, adjacent to the Days Inn and Suites on Jekyl Island, will be closed tentatively until Jan. 1 for the filming of "X-Men: First Class."

The closure is scheduled to begin today.

Only authorized vehicles and personnel will be permitted in the area, said Erica England, a spokeswoman for the Jekyll Island Authority.

The movie is set to take place before the original X-men Trilogy going through the origins of Magneto,Proffesor X,and the X-men.So far fans are highly dissapointed with the film ,even though a trailer isn't even out, because of the bad continuity mostly. The film is slated for a 2011 release.Pictures of Mystique,Emma Frost, and Prof.x have already been released but strangely no actual X-men images or even their costumes.

Rumors spread that this month they will start to film the scenes with the unknown monster on Jekyll Island this month.
