ComingSoon has reported David O. Russell is interested in directing the comic book adaption 2 Guns, the comic book ran as a five-issue miniseries. Written by Steven Grant with art by Mat Santolouco. Marc Platt is producing the crime thriller via his Marc Platt Productions along with Boom! co-founders Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie. The comic is being described by Boom! Studios as follows:

In the vein of The Italian Job, Two Guns is a story about cops and thieves. Trench has targeted a local bank to rob, and Steadman want's in on the action. Trench figures it's a great way to score considering it's a cover for mob money. They'll be thieves ripping off thieves, but what Steadman doesn't know is that Trench is a DEA agent. And what Trench doesn't know is that Steadman's got his own secret and isn't who he appears to be. Russell will rewrite and direct the project which currently has a script from Blake Masters.
