In just under a month, the living legend returns and to get you even more excited, Paramount has debuted an action-packed new IMAX trailer & poster for Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher: Never Go Back!

Tom Cruise has just announced that his upcoming action sequel Jack Reacher: Never Go Back will arrive in IMAX worldwide when it hits theaters October 21st and to follow-up on the big announcement, Paramount Pictures released the second exhilarating and presumably final trailer as well as a badass new IMAX poster for the hotly anticipated Ed Zwick-directed film, which co-stars Cobie Smulders. Check them out below:

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back follows the title character as he returns to Virginia to meet the head of his former unit. But she's missing, he's being charged with a crime committed nearly 20 years ago, and he may even have a daughter. Making things right will lead him on a cross-country chase to uncover the truth - and maybe even a family.

I wonder if Cruise would join the MCU or DCEU. I know he was set to be Ironman a few years ago and would love to see him play a villain.

And actually pretty excited for this movie, the first one was fun and badass, definitely carried by Cruise and I see that happening again.

First one was solid, although I still laugh at that line in the script that must have predated Cruise's casting when the character was still a huge, hulking figure of a man. The police show up at his motel looking for someone capable of breaking a neck with his bare hands, and the person working the front desk instantly thinks of Tom Cruise based on how intimidating he looks.
