"You can run, but you can't hide..."

A new trailer for George Miller's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga has been classified and is expected to drop soon, but in the meantime, we have a new behind-the-scenes look at the highly-anticipated post-apocalyptic actioner.

Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram to share the image, which gives us another look at the Thor: Love and Thunder star as the villainous Dementus, who will find himself at odds with a younger take on Furiosa (Anya Taylor-Joy), the battle-hardened Imperator we met in Fury Road (then played by Charlize Theron).

The first trailer revealed that this story will begin 45 years before the world fell, as we see Furiosa being taken from her home in the Green Place of Many Mothers and getting swept up in a brutal battle between feuding warlords Dementus and Immortan Joe.

Miller has previously confirmed that the movie takes place over a 15-year span.

"All I can say about my excitement about doing it is that it’s definitely exciting, because even though it’s certainly of that world of Fury Road, it’s also got a lot of the differences we’ve been talking about. Again, it’s uniquely familiar. And probably the biggest difference is the timespan. Fury Road happened over three days and two nights and this one happens over 15 years. So, it’s a saga."

"For more than that, we’ll have to talk again in the future," he added.

Check out the new image below along with the trailer and theatrical poster, and let us know what you think.

"As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus," reads the movie's synopsis. "Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home."

Miller penned the script with Fury Road co-writer Nico Lathouris. The director's behind-the-scenes creative team includes first assistant director PJ Voeten and second unit director and stunt coordinator Guy Norris, director of photography Simon Duggan (Hacksaw Ridge, The Great Gatsby), composer Tom Holkenborg, sound designer Robert Mackenzie, editor Eliot Knapman, visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson and colorist Eric Whipp.

The team also includes other longtime collaborators: production designer Colin Gibson, editor Margaret Sixel, sound mixer Ben Osmo, costume designer Jenny Beavan and makeup designer Lesley Vanderwalt, each of whom won an Oscar for their work on Mad Max: Fury Road.

Only movie coming close to Dune Part 2’s greatness this year

@FireandBlood - Dune is cooking. Furiosa is out in two months. We are so close to studios finally figuring it out: All moviegoers want is the desert. The desert will save the blockbuster as we know it.

@FireandBlood - I think there's real potential this ends up better than Dune 2 but even if it's close we will be good 😊

@FireandBlood - perfect gif. and i hope so. deep down though i kinda hope a Quiet Place Day One is sneaky good and makes some money cuz i LOVED A Quiet Place and the 2nd one isnt as bad as people say... but thats just me.

Also, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes looks awesome and should be a great film... and i'm really hoping the new Alien movie is good, but cautious until i see a trailer

I dig it!!.

I can’t help though but laugh at how much he looks like Norse Thor now ironically.

Anyway Hemsworth is gonna be great , he’s killed it everytime he’s played a villain such as Bad Times at The El Royale or Spiderhead.

A little worried about this movie since there's NO MAD MAX in it!

@SteelGunZ - Furiosa was basically the star of the first one anyway, Max was a supporting character in her first movie so might as well go with what worked for them

I wasn’t a fan of the previous furiousa film with the madmax cameo but I’m interested in seeing Hemsworth in this role.

@slickrickdesigns - how anyone didn't enjoy Fury Road is beyond me. And I say this as someone who probably thinks Road Warrior and Mad Max are two better films but nonetheless

@McMurdo - the movie was all right. I’m just not a fan of it.. I would much rather watch the first Street mad max movies
