Executive Producer Jerry Bruckheimer tonight took to Twitter and invited his 39,816 followers to check out his newly redesigned official site. While there is no new info on the film, it now has an official logo. Below, you can check out the full-scale version.



Bruckheimer will be producing with his Pirates of the Caribbean colleagues Johnny Depp, Gore Verbinski for The Lone Ranger. Depp will be playing Tonto, while the lead role is yet to be cast.

Not a fan of Bruckheimer, he always prefers cheese-fests....Prince of Persia for example, regardless of the cast and director Bruckheimer knows how to [frick] up a movie and make it a dumb popcorn flick.

Wonder who they are going to cast in the lead role?! Colin Farrell, Gabriel Macht, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chris Pine or Michael Fassbender would be a cool choice i think?... Definitely Farrell! Let Farrell do it!:)

I hope the pull it off, but I'm skeptical. @AlexDeLarge666, the main name being floated around to play the Lone Ranger, even by Johnny Depp in a few interviews, is George Clooney. They may prove me wrong, but a Lone Ranger movie with Clooney as the Ranger and Depp as Tonto just doesn't scream awesome.

I'm with you. I like the property. i like those actors. but NOT together. or at least not now, maybe 10 years ago! ugh, i want this to be good but so need some footage to feel an excitement for it. ah well...maybe it'll come together.

Ugh. I am tired of Johnny Depp. Why couldn't Disney get an actual Native American to play Tonto? Well, I am glad that Depp is not playing the Lone Ranger. There is hope yet...
