Netflix has released the first trailer for Masters of the Universe: Revelation - Part 2, and it should appease fans who felt the first five episodes were a little light on He-Man!

It seems Adam survived the shocking events of the Part 1 finale after all, and in order to combat the now all-powerful "Skelegod," the young prince calls forth the power of Grayskull... without the sword in his hand. This transforms him into the Conan the Barbarian-like Savage He-Man, who takes the fight straight to his old nemesis.

That's not the only big moment in the trailer, as we also see Evil-Lyn and Teela seek to become new incarnations of The Sorceress, the debuts of classic characters such as Fisto and Buzz-Off, and the return of a certain diminutive wizard we thought we might have seen the last of!

Check out the trailer below. Masters of the Universe: Revelation - Part 2 is set to hit Netflix on November 23.

Revelation serves as a sequel to the '80s animated series, and has assembled quite a voice cast to continue the story, with Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena, Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man, and original Skeletor voice actor Alan Oppenheimer taking on role of Moss Man.

Liam Cunningham as Man-At-Arms, Griffin Newman as Orco, Stephen Root as Cringer, Diedrich Bader as King Randor and Trap Jaw, Tiffany Smith as Andra, Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops, Susan Eisenberg as Sorceress, Jason Mewes as Stinkor, Phil LaMarr as He-Ro, Tony Todd as Scare Glow, Cree Summer as Priestess, Kevin Michael Richardson as Beast Man, and Harley Quinn Smith as Ileena round out the cast.

Looks better than the first season. First one merely relied on shock value.

@NakedAvenger - it’s all one season. Netflix was being stupid and split the story into two parts

Tried the first season didn't like it.

Also seriously Mark, you couldn't have put effort into it, you sounded like Joker not Skeletor.

Might rewatch Kipo and The Age Of Wonderbeasts

It's amazing how upset people were about there not being enough gay dude in loincloth in the first five episodes.

@Reeds2Much - they can't. They had to keep it inside. Learn how to hide their feelings.

@Reeds2Much - For dudes that hate LGBTQIA+ people, they sure love their tall, shirtless, muscular men.

@Reeds2Much - Cant lump them all together. Most people were annoyed by the (at that time) bait and switch were he main hero is killed off right away. I mean, imagine sitting down to a James Bond movie and 007 is killed before before the opening credits lol! Then there are those that have always issues with equality and progress and look to jump aboard any issue.

Funny you should mention that. When I was in high school I hung out with some aspiring movie makers, and we made some really shitty home movies, and our quote unquote director's dream was to make a movie where he would spend an exuberant amount of money on marketing the main character. There'd be Superbowl tv spots, toys, billboards, a music album of the character singing.

And then in the first five minutes the character dies and the movie ends.

@Reeds2Much - You know what's weird? As a newbie who hadn't read the Game of Thrones novel I went into it for Sean Bean! It was shortly after I got into Lord of The Rings movies (again, without reading novels) and I needed me some more of that fantasy stuff. Imagine my surprise at his trial 🤦🏾‍♂️😂

@Kadara - See, what I hated was the heavy handed,, in your face, presentation of the feminism and LGBTQ stuff with Teela. And I don't even mind any of that, but make it feel natural. But instead they told everyone this would be a movie about He-Man, but then they killed him off and it was all about Teela and the things I mentioned.

And the funny thing is, He-Man dying wasn't that serious because the show was called Masters of the Universe. It wasn't called He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. So the bait and switch wasn't necessary.

He-Man is my shit, so I'm really hoping this second part is good. I grew up with 200x and watched new adventures and Filmation in preparation for Revelations, and I enjoyed the new CGI show for what it was. So I'm hopeful that this second part can stick the landing.

I guess I'm alone in enjoying the first season for what it was. This looks good to me too. Looking forward to seeing more of where this new mythology is going.

@ElricReturns - I liked it a lot. Not everything worked, but it did a good job of paying homage to the camp of the original while taking the characters in a new direction. It wasn't a patch of the She Rá Netflix show though!

@ElricReturns - I liked it. And more importantly, my kids LOVED it. Mattel can't crank out those toys fast enough - and since that was the point, mission accomplished.

@RorMachine - I haven't watched She Ra yet, I know there is a lot of talk about it be great but not for everyone... 🤷🏾‍♂️ I figured I'd watch it eventually if I find myself out of stuff to catch up on, which doesn't seem very likely.

But i mostly enjoy the stuff Kevin Smith works on. I'm never anticipating high brow, just something.... different.

@Rosraf - right.

Honestly, I only wish they dedicated to the 80s song theme they started with the season 1 trailer using "I Need A Hero". You know there's some 80s power ballad that's all about redemption or some shit they could have slapped one here lol
