In less than two days, the fourth and final season premiere of Attack on Titan, one of the most popular current anime series, will be available to fans. Funimation reached out to us to set up several audio interviews with the talent behind the English-dubbed version of the show.

We have been sharing our chats with the voices behind Mikasa and Hange, Trina Nishimura (My Hero Academia) and Jessica Calvello (Cyanide & Happiness), respectively, to build excitement for the upcoming season. We also have upcoming interviews with the actors who portray Connie, Armin, and even Eren himself; Clifford Chapin, Josh Grelle, and Bryce Papenbrook.

During our conversation with Jessica Calvello about her experiences with conventions and her own cosplay attempts, she went into detail about the strangest gift she has ever received from a fan... a jar of toenails! Here's a snippet of what she had to say about the strange experience.

"They had cosplayed from Attack on Titan Junior High, which, you know, Hange's in a jumpsuit. Gosh, that came out, that came out in 2015, that was a while ago. And the cosplayer, she was wonderful. And she had this jar of toenails that looked exactly like it was from the show. It was giant.

And I was like, "how did you make these?" And she constructed each toenail from clay and something else. And then she gave me one, and I carried it around with me the whole convention, which was super weird and super heavy, but it was amazing. That was an amazing cosplay; I freaking loved it."

Huh, I guess you could say that the fan who made her that prop...nailed it.

I really want to see what that cosplay looked like now.

It must really be heartwarming and fun for voice actors to see their fans enjoying their show so much that they choose to cosplay as their own character and putting a lot of time and work into it.
