AQUAMAN Credits List Zack Snyder As Executive Producer; PG-13 Rating Reasons Revealed

Aquaman's credits shed some light on who has been working behind the scenes on the upcoming DC Comics adaptation, while the movie's rating explains why the MPAA has chosen PG-13 for the blockbuster...

There's still a good four months or so until Aquaman hits theaters but the movie's website has now been updated with both credits for the movie (not the cast, unfortunately, just producers and the like) and its rating. Like Justice League before it, the movie will be PG-13 for "sequences of sci-fi violence and action." However, there is one slight difference as we're also getting "some language" too.

As for those credits, Zack Snyder and his wife Deborah Snyder are listed as executive producers alongside DC Films bosses Geoff Johns and Jon Berg, along with DC Films President Walter Hamada (who has been taking an active role in reshaping this comic book universe since coming on board).

Director James Wan, Johns, and Will Beall (Gangster Squad, Venom) are credited for the movie's story but David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (Wrath of the Titans, The Walking Dead) and Beall penned the screenplay. So, interesting stuff but when will we get the next trailer? We'll have to wait and see!

We really dont need the PG 13 rating specified for this one, its not like anyone is saying Aquaman should be rated R, Suicide Squad should have been an R

@dracula - Trailer Park's "Suicide Squad" annoyingly fits the confines of a PG-13. Even though he said otherwise (more than likely so he wouldn't end up like Josh Trank) David Ayer wrote a hard R rated "Suicide Squad" film.

So, an entire article devoted to a movie's rating?

I was watching a youtube video earlier about Justice League and I completely forgot about the parademon exploding into three squares... My goodness, that movie is shoddy. Imagine how pointless and dull the Snyder cut must have been that they decided to cut out an hour of (probably profoundly dreary) Act 1 and replace it with nonsense like that...

Is it too late to just have the DC cinematic universe just be the Teen Titans Go?

I sorta mentioned this once, but am I the only one who finds Jason Momoa unattractive behind the long hair/beard?

He looks so much better when he's clean-shaven. Ever since he grew his hair and facial hair out, he looks kinda homeless, or like a homeless animal even... yet people still call him the sexiest man on the planet. I. don't. get. it.
