As fans eagerly await the first trailer for James Wan's Aquaman this Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con, the first offcial theaterical poster for the DC movie has been released online.

The one-sheet features Jason Momoa's titular Atlantean hero front and centre, while multiple sharks, whales, turtles and various other sea creatures converge behind him. It's safe to say any surface dwellers that may be thinking about causing trouble for our aquatic King and his people should probably think twice!

In addition, it seems the film's official tagline will be "Home is Calling."

Keep an eye on CBM for some major details and reveals about the movie later on today.

Aquaman also stars Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.

The latest entry in Warner Bros.' DC Films Universe swims into theatres this December.

@DonovanW -

It's a good poster.
I just think the DC logo in the middle of the Aquaman symbol kills the design for the title.
The DC logo shouldn't be inside the Aquaman symbol.

@Humperdink - I wouldn't say it kills it but it certainly could have been better placed.

@ELAYEM - If there's one thing that WB gets right, it's their marketing. They made Suicide Squad look like the best movie of the summer (and we all know how that turned out).

So, DC got it made with their advertising.

@KWilly - WB's marketing for the DCEU hasn't been all that great though. MoS and BvS had great campaigns, but Wonder Woman's started off really slow, Suicide Squad's changed halfway, and Justice League was terrible.

They need to really get it right with Aquaman.

@BlindWedjat - Suicide Squads REALLY changed halfway - it wasn't until how long before the movie came out that they stunt cast half of Fueled By Ramen's artists onto that?

Granted, it paid off for Heathens, but like they definitely knew it wasn't working ahead of time and that's definitely why they changed the marketing to match up with GOTG's so late in the game

@JoeMomma29 - I lost what remaining respect I had for Disney when they moved the date for Return of Mary Poppins to coincide with Aquaman. That was a nasty move on their part.
