PHOTOS: AQUAMAN Director James Wan Is Scouting Some Incredible Locations

We still don't know what's happening with The Flash, but Aquaman director James Wan is still hard at work on that movie as he heads to some mind-blowing locations for the undersea adventure...

A good chunk of Aquaman is going to take place beneath the sea, but what about the scenes set on the surface world? As of right now, we have no idea whether the King of Atlantis will be kicking ass in the city or out on the high seas, but some new location scouting photos shared by director James Wan confirm that the movie will feature some downright beautiful imagery for Aquaman and company.

One of the coolest things about Wonder Woman is just how incredible Themyscira looks, especially as it's so different to the usual city landscapes we see in the vast majority of comic book adaptations.

What do you guys think of the photos below? Do you have any theories about how locations like this will be used in Aquaman? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section down below.

@Doomsday8888 - Yep. Of all the bad decisions WB has made, Wan seems to be the one pure good one. The dude seems competent and enthusiastic about a character and actor that most people wouldn't go to bat for.

I am a little hesitant on WW myself. The humor seems forced and I don't see a great onscreen chemistry between her and Steve in the trailers. I have heard others mention her speaking is not coming through clearly or loud enough in the trailers. And for me, overall, I don't see her having the needed presence of Christopher Reeves (Patty's inspiration for the movie) coming across to the audience. To be Reeve's she needs to be the vocal center of the DCEU and I don't see her bringing that into film yet.

@Spock0Clock - If they're out on her, they should be out on the side for the guy that's still in pre-production.

I'll believe this movie is happening when there is a second trailer.

I have complete faith in James Wan. This and Matt Reeves's Batman movie have to be my most anticipated, besides Justice League of course.
