The rumor of Black Manta being the main villain for James Wan's Aquaman has made its rounds on the Internet. Whether or not the rumor is true is yet to be seen. However, true or not, it hasn't stopped fans from speculating on who should take on the role of Aquaman's archenemy. Now, actor Michael Jai White (Spawn, Arrow) has heard the rumor and has expressed some interest in the role.
Earlier today, White took to his Twitter account to respond to a fan that suggested that the actor should take on the role of Black Manta. White replied by saying, "I accept your nomination!” It seems like White is more than ready to wear the iconic Black Manta helmet, but he's going to have some competition now that actor Michael K. Williams (The Night Of) has also thrown his hat into the Black Manta ring.
