How to Make AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Awesome

Some things and little details that would make this movie fun and cool as hell and that i would certainly like to see.

Editorial Opinion
By BaronZemo - Mar 20, 2014 10:03 AM EST

Excuse me if i have spelling or grammar mistakes, i don’t live in an English-Speaking country.

A powerful Ultron
I don't want to see just a living Iron Man armour, i want to see a villain who can take down the Hulk (relatively speaking because is practicaly impossible) and kick Thor's ass. but of course i also want him to have a plan to destroy humanity saying how much disdain he has for humanity because “we are wild but we have potential to be a good race”...etc. And if possible, he should say the AEMH quote: “Humanity is inherently flawed” OMG that would be amazing.

Shield
I want to see more SHIELD facilities like the Triskelion, that has been mentioned in Agents of Shield and is probably going to appear in CATWS. Or prisons like The Vault or the Cube, that have appeared in the Avengers earth's mightiest heroes TV show. Maybe Ultron robots could guard the prisoners but then they would rise creating a breakout. But i still want to see the helicarrier, or maybe a group of helicarriers to fight the hordes of Ultron. I also want cooler uniforms and some scenes with Shield hordes agains Ultron robots, now that we aren’t getting those in Agents of Shield.

Wakanda
I don't want it just to be a simple easter egg, i want a whole scene or something like that. Or a conversation about it. Some politicians from there could sell vibranium to America or Shield to build Ultrons with a mention of “the king panther”.

Vibranium and Adamamtium
Vibranium is the metal from Wakanda. Captain America's shield is made out of that so that could be explored if Wakanda appears. The next thing is Adamantium but i am not sure if Marvel can use it because of right issues (FOX has used it so that means they have they rights to it). The thing is, Ultron upgraded himself with an Adamantium outshell. Adamantium is made out of Vibranium, actually. Anyways, Adamantium first appeared in Avengers #66 (July 1969) where Ultron upgrades himself with the outshell so maybe both Marvel and FOX own it.

Nick Fury and Baron Von Strucker
Fury’s backstory could be very explored now that Baron Von Strucker could probably be in the film, because Fury having and eyepatch is actually Strucker’s fault (in the comics). I want a fight between them, if i get to see that, i will be very pleased. Because Strucker is basicly the oposite of Fury. Just by thinking i might get to see that, i get very excited for the film, i would never think that i would get to see that in an MCU film. I also want some kick-ass action scenes with Nick aside that. And please, let Strucker have at least some conection to Hdra. Let him be a Hydra officer please, he has o be.

Iron Man
I am very curious about Iron Man’s return. What is going to be his story? How is he going to return? Because (Iron Man 3 spoiler alert) he got his arc reactor removed and he blew up all of his suits. It’s going to be very exciting to see Iron Man back in his red and golden armour once more, like the old days. That brings me to the next point: Give us an armour with those colours, don’t take the Iron Man feeling like you did in Iron Man 3. I want it classic. So as i was saying, it’s going to be very exciting to see him back, because of the armour and because of the tone, because it was a little bit changed in Iron Man 3. I want the cool billionare, playboy, philantropist that we all like back (Let’s not talk about Iron Man 3 in the comments, OK?). And also, i don’t want him to be the leader, i want Cap.

War Machine
I’m glad he is back for one more movie. No cameo, I don’t want him to be a main avenger but i want a cool action scene of him, because there’s barely screentime of him in Iron Man 2. We’ve only got the final battle scene. Also, no Iron Patriot armour, not because i don’t like it, just because the other one is SO badass.

Thor
This may be very unlikely but if Thor could wear his helmet it would be very awesome.

Hawkeye and Black Widow
We need more of their backstory because it’s still kept as a secret. I also want some hints of love between them and a cool scene where they are fightin lots of Ultron robots and they say: - “Just like Budapest, huh? – “Just like Budapest.”

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver
I am looking forward to their costumes and origin stories. Hipervelocity would be very useful in the real life war but maybe in the movies it doesn’t look that good, so i am also looking forward to some Quicksilver action. Also, this may be the first intrduction to the Inhumans and magic in the MCU. Magic is a very big step. These two characters are going to expand this cinematic universe a lot.

Hawkeye Costume
We need a better costume for him, because he didn’t feel that much of a superhero in the Avengers. Here you have some examples of what i want to see:

All against Ultron
It’s true that in the first one, the heroes fought together to stop Loki’s evil pan, but there wasn’t a scene where they fought Loki himself all at the same time. I want that in Age of Ultron.

Hank Pym
An easter egg, a conversation, a cameo...

Conexion with the first one
I want the Chitauri to still be a thing, maybe shield still investigating them, experimenting... I don’t want them to just be completely forgoten. As well as Loki, maybe the Avengers talking about him when shield recruits them or Thor (TTDW Spoiler alert) saying that he has died. I also want Coulson, very important.

Cool e-c-s
Thanos.

Cameos
I want a cameo of someone. Obviously, Stan Lee, but i think the perfect one would be a cameo of the Agents of Shield. That would be very unexpected. I know lots of you will be like “Nooooo, please” but it would really show that these worlds are actually truly connected and it would be awesome. Seeing Fitz-Simmons sreaming of joy and Ward giving Cap a hand-shake. Skye touching Thor’s musles. And Melinda and Black Widow. Wow.

One shot
To expand the movie even fourther, give us a cool One-shot in the blu-ray of the film that shows the aftermath or explains some things.

Vision
I am so glad he is in it because he is so important in the comics universe so this is a big step, i love this decision. Paul Bettany is playing him, the same actor that voices Jarvis, so does this mean that Jarvis and Vision are going to be the same person. I hope not, please, don’t mix the things. Vision must also wear a colorful costume, ‘cause these are superheroes, man! They are colorful!

UNLIKELY BECAUSE IT MAY AFECT THE PLOT OR WHATEVER REASON:

Avengers mansion
I want Star Tower to be like a base or something, at least i want it more explored. But avengers mansion would be awesome, it would give us a classic look at the avengers. It could appear in an end credit scene or at the end of the film as a project of Tony Stark.

Rick Jones
I think he is a very important element in the comics so i think he needs to be introduced as a shield agent that deals with the Hulk or something. Then maybe appearing in other Hulk movies, cosmic movies and captain america movies. Maybe even turning into A-bomb after.

Yocasta
A part of Ultron’s plan where he shows the world what he want to do with the humans: turn them into robots like Yocasta (for example).

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT
Same soundtrack. Avengers Assemble scene. 40-45 minutes of final battle. Like the last one.

Okay so that was it. You must remember that these cool things can actually happen and they wouldn’t afect the plot at all. Maybe just some of them afect it but there are some details (AoS cameo, Budapest, Hawkeye’s costume, Thor's helmet, AEMH quote) that don’t and that would make this movie very fun. This movie has so much potential for universe expansion and i am looking to it a lot. As always thank you so much for reading, I am BaronZemo.

Wakanda would never sell Vibranium. BP would only give it over as a gift for some reason or if he was a part of the conflict. They only gave the vibranium shield to Anthony Stark Sr. so that they could show support in WWII.

Im really curious how War Machines going to fit into this. I mean were gonna have the first six...

Captain America
Iron Man
Thor
Hulk
Black Widow
Hawkeye

And at one point

Quicksilver
Scarlet Witch
Vision
and War Machine will appear in the film as well! It just seems insane! So far no signs of Falcon showing up but we know he exists. We just really need to get Ms Marvel and Black Panther introduced. Ant Man and Wasp could also appear by Avengers 3. We know Ant Man has his own film coming up but that doesn't mean he will necessarily be in the third film.

"How to make Avengers: Age of Ultron awesome"

Basically...let Whedon do what he's talking about. Bigger, yet more personal, etc.

"“Just like Budapest, huh? – “Just like Budapest."

I really hope not. THat's getting too close to catchphrase territory for me. I'd really rather there be absolutely NO hint of love between them. It's FAR more interesting to me to have Black Widow actually not hook up with Hawkeye in any way. This may be because I was just a victim of office gossip where coworkers assumed I was having an affair with a woman simply because we were friendly, but...you know...sometimes coworkers can simply have a strong friendship. To me, having Black Widow and Hawkeye be romantically involved makes as much sense as having Cap and Bucky sleep together. Sure, it can happen, and there's nothing really wrong with it, BUT...it really isn't necessary for the type of story they're telling.

Lastly, if Wolverine has taught us anything, it's that the darker characters with mysterious pasts should probably have as little of their history revealed as possible. In most cases, when the origin is finally explained, it's a let down.

ALso, Cap WAS the leader in the original Avengers, so sounds like (and with many of your other thoughts) you simply want more of the same. I imagine Whedon is pretty aware of what worked, and will probably take it further etc.

I'm not worried about Iron Man at all actually. He blew up those suits, yeah, but he made it pretty clear...he's STILL Iron Man. With the remote controlled option, he can actually stay out of harm's way, and keep Pepper happy. But of course, this may well be what leads to some of Ultron's power in the first place, and I'll be a little surprised if Tony doesn't spend most of the film swearing he's not suiting up ever again, only to of course arrive for the Assemble scene having suited up in a big "f*** yeah" kinda moment.

Also, the Triskelion definitely does appear in WS, but it looks like a Helicarrier crashes into it.

*sigh* fanboys *sigh*

What is the deal with Thor's helmet? It looks stupid. Especially in the movies. No, leave it out. Black Widow should be friends with Hawkeye, nothing more. (If she's gonna have a love interest, make it Cap. Otherwise, leave it alone for now.) Hawkeye's suit is fine. His comic suit is terrible, please stay away from it. And, kill him off, he's kind of worthless anyway.

As for Pym, Feige and Whedon have said he's not in it. So give it up already. I don't really care about Vision, but I certainly hope he's not wearing a costume that is similar to that pic.

And while I love AoS, no, no, no, and a big huge NO to your cameo ideas. Coulson, maybe. Skye, maybe, if she does end up having powers. The rest, no. (I would like to see May working with Black Widow, but on TV, not in AoU.)

Once again I am reminded about how happy I am that fanboys don't run the movie studios

I would love the AoS team to appear. That would be great. How can Falcon and War Machine get into the movie, even briefly? Easy, if there's an Ultron army that's spread out, attacking all over the world at once. That would be cool to show different small teams of Avengers fighting in different parts of the world.

"Once again I am reminded about how happy I am that fanboys don't run the movie studios"

Forget running the studios, I'm glad they aren't writing for the studios. Not to single out this article, but I can't think of one editorial or anything done by a fan where their dialogue was amazing.

Yeah, I don't think he really gave up making suits. He just wasn't going to be insane about it and using it as a distraction from his PTSD. In the end, he'll always be Iron Man. So...even the end of IM3, he STILL assures you that he's not going to stop.

If SHIELD is actually like...gone at the end of CAP: TWS then Avengers tower would be a good spot for them to Hang.

Good article and those are some interesting points that even i would not mind seeing in the film. I'd like to see Hawkeye get a proper attire and it's a shame that Falcon wont be in Age of Ultron but at least bring in Warmachine.

Budapest could very well just been a mission they were on and no, romance is not needed b/t them, but just a story of their obvious bond. Everything else is pretty much understandable.

ruadh - 3/20/2014, 11:55 PM
If their bond is obvious, why is a story showing it necessary?

Dude, relax, this is just some thing that i wrote on the internet. God. Don't take it so seriously. Chill. It's fine if you don't like it, i've disliked many things but i haven't written more than three comments talking about it.

@Lhornbk
"*sigh* fanboys *sigh*"

Why? I don't understand this. Why do you say that to me? I guess now every time that a fan talks about what he would like to see someone will make that comment. Even if he is not insulting, being annoying, or complaining. Because i would understand it if he was "I hate Marvel Studios so much! Iron Man 3 was garbage and if you like it you are stupid" The thing i said about Thor's helmet was just an idea. Do you really think it's necesary? Because you are the one being annoying and mean. Plus, in any case, i only dedicated to it one line and i alredy said that it was very unlikely.

Hawkeye-Black Widow-Mockingbird story arcs should be done to give a colourful yet grounded touch to all dreamy MCU...and if possible then make a story with Black Widow-Winter Soldier stories of past...it must be shown how Black Widow is also special(more than an ass whooping highly skilled combat specialist)in her own way...in some other time behind the enemy lines.

some good ideas and some bad ones. 120 min movie you are asking too much with too many characters. what us geeks love is what would kill it for mainstream audiences. Let Whedon work his magic. In Whedon I trust.
