Marvel's plan to release the first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was smart, but less than 24 hours after that announcement was made, someone leaked the preview online. Disney started removing it, but after multiple downloads and sites like The Wrap and Variety all started picking up on the bootleg, their hand was forced and it was released officially.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive for the most part, and it appears as if the sequel to 2012's The Avengers might just end up beating the first movie both at the box office and in terms of how good it is. The teaser doesn't give a lot away in terms of the plot as the focus is very much put on the action and Ultron's introduction both in his first form and an even more sinister version.
The tone appears to be noticeably darker and there's something about the trailer which makes you wonder just what kind of shape Earth's Mightiest Heroes will be in by the time the credits roll. Between fighting each other and looking utterly defeated, how the events of this movie lead to the start of Civil War in Captain America 3 should be very interesting to see over the next two years!
