The Avengers: Age of Ultron theory

The Avengers: Age of Ultron theory

The edgyoutsider of CBM.com (lol yeah, I went there, thanks WitchHunt3D) has a theory for the sequel to the biggest superhero film of all time.

Editorial Opinion

This isn't going to be one great big editorial. I'm just going to add this to the theory I had a couple weeks before comic-con. Now, as we all know. The next Avengers film is, The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Part of my theory was that Ultron is the villain, I was obviously correct. I did get the Ant-Man part wrong. But, I think that I have figured out Ultron's creator in Age of Ultron. But, let's cut to the chase shall we?

My initial theory is that Ultron would be the villain and that it would have Ant-Man and Vision in it. I was wrong about Ant-Man but Vision still has a chance. It's also a global film and with Ultron as the villain, not only is it a naturally darker movie but it also opens up for a possible Black Panther appearance. Yes, I still think Black Panther will be in the film cause it all makes sense. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will obviously play a part in it, my guess is it has something to do with the big guys up in space. Yes, I am suggesting either Thanos or The Other will be involved with how Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver get their powers. That being said, my latest theory is this.... Tony Stark will NOT be Ultron's creator. But, S.H.I.E.L.D will play a part in it. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the film that has the closest ties and will carry us into, The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Recently, Kevin Fiege said that Bruce Banner will play a significant role in Age of Ultron. Do you see where I am getting at with this? To add more layers, angst and darkness into the character of Bruce Banner, I believe that Bruce Banner a.k.a The Hulk will be the creator of one of The Avengers greatest and deadliest enemies, Ultron. S.H.I.E.L.D will ask Banner to make an Iron Man like robot/armor seeing as how Tony Stark is done (more-less although still technically Iron Man) and obviously it goes haywire and there ya have it, Ultron.

As I said, it wasn't going to be a big editorial but I wanted to get this out there. What are your guys' thoughts? Bruce Banner instead of Tony Stark as Ultrons creator? Comment below with your thoughts and theories.

I actually suggested in a comment on one of the whiny "you're ruining Pym" articles that Banner might be the creator. But, while I think that's possible, I have a much harder time believing that he does it for Shield. He made it fairly clear in the first movie that he doesn't truly trust them, and was very upset about Phase 2. I think it's more likely that maybe Stark asks him to help create something to replace him, or that maybe a couple of the other Avengers do (maybe Black Widow & Capt. America leave Shield at the end of Winter Soldier and ask him to replace Stark.) Or he just does it on his own, maybe even as a failsafe in case he ever totally loses control of the Hulk.

As for Black Panther being in it, I think Marvel would have announced that by now. If he is, I bet they announce soon to take a little steam out of the Affleck news.

Lhornbk: Ultron as a failsafe for if he lost control of the Hulk actually makes more sense. I don't see why people are upset with Phase 2. It's off to a good but not great start and I think Thor: The Dark World will ease people down a bit. As far as Black Panther goes, I think cause it's one everyone wants (and is most logical with Ultron being the villain), they might want to keep him a surprise.

@EdgyOutsider

I think what @Lhornbk meant was that the Avengers are upset with the IN-UNIVERSE Phase 2. You know, the "Let's make Pseudo-Hydra weapons of mass destruction powered by the Tesseract" plan.

@Manfrommars: I am off my game today in general. I am a bit slow today. Sorry lol but yeah, now it makes more sense

I can dig this idea, sort of a story of a man { Banner } who everyone see as a monster { Hulk } creates a monster { Ultron } and in doing so, everyone sees him { Banner } as more of a monster now.

Yeah, that was what I meant. I don't get the fanboy whining about Phase 2 either. There's only been 1 movie, which is now #5 all time at the box office, and which I thought was very good. But it made fanboys whine because it supposedly ruined the Mandarin, & as a result all the whiners say that phase 2 of the movies is flopping. Nonsense, absolute nonsense.

I think I'd like Banner being Ultron's creator a little more than Stark. I'd be fine with either scenario, though.

I think Stark will create it as a way of making an Iron Man stand-in so-to-speak so that he can retire.

Now that you mention it, I like the idea of Banner creating Ultron, because it adds a lot of layers to the character and would shut up some of the people who said Ruffalo's take was flat.
