Marvel Studios is being careful to keep as many of
Avengers: Endgame's secrets under wraps as possible and that includes not showing certain cast members and what they'll be getting up to in the movie. Wong (Benedict Wong) is among them, and while he was credited on the movie's poster, his fate still remains somewhat uncertain following the events of
Avengers: Infinity War.
However, during a recent Q&A, the actor was asked if Wong is now the new Sorcerer Supreme and as well as addressing that, he weighed in on where the character has been.
"Ha! Why not!" he said. "He’s currently guarding the Sanctum." That obviously makes sense, as someone had to watch out for that after Doctor Strange left Earth and ultimately turned to dust after handing over the Time Stone to the Mad Titan. Further emphasising the fact he'll play a key role in proceedings is a recent Funko leak, revealing that he'll get his own Pop Vinyl figure.
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear as if we'll get another trailer for Avengers: Endgame and we'll have to make do with TV spots (which more than likely won't reveal very much either).
