Tessa Thompson Seemingly Confirms AVENGERS: ENDGAME Return As Chiwetel Ejiofor Teases Mordo's Fate
As expected, it appears as if Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie will indeed be making her return in Avengers: Endgame, but could Doctor Strange's Mordo also show up after Thanos' snap decision? Take a look...
Much to the disappointment of Thor: Ragnarok fans, there was no sign of Valkyrie in Avengers: Infinity War. However, during a recent appearance to discuss her commitment to the Time's Up 4% challenge (which seeks to increase the number of actors and producers working with female directors), the actress confirmed her return for Avengers: Endgame.
As you can see, Thompson mentions two movies that are coming out in 2019, one in April and one in June. The latter will be Men In Black: International but the only possibility for the former is the next instalment in the Avengers franchise.
As for Chiwetel Ejiofor, it seems as if the door is definitely open for his Doctor Strange character, Mordo, to return in Avengers: Endgame as well because he was very cryptic when asked about the status of his villain after Thanos snapped his fingers. "We are going to have to watch the movie when it comes out!" he teased.
Rumour has it that The Ancient One will return in some capacity in Avengers: Endgame so Mordo also showing up definitely makes a lot of sense, whether that's in a flashback or as part of his new war on people using magic who really shouldn't be.
We'll have to wait and see how things play out when the movie is released this April, so stay tuned for further updates.
To check out Valkyrie's Avengers: Endgame costume,
check out the recently leaked promo art below!
Ronin's mask definitely pays homage to the source material but some changes have also been made to make it a little more grounded and so we can still see some of Jeremy Renner's face.
The gold colouring on Ronin's mask is clearer to see on his action figure but what's really interesting here is seeing that not only does Black Widow have one of those new suits but a ponytail as well.
Rocket is an alien but also needs one of these suits and that tells me they're probably going to be used for travelling into the Quantum Realm rather than outer space (he's also an Avenger now).
Valkyrie will be making her return in Endgame and it seems as if she has a slightly different costume to the last time we saw her. Seeing her assemble alongside the Avengers should be great fun.
Another look at those new costumes, some fans wonder if "Titan Hero Series" is a reference to the team travelling to Titan but that's more than likely just a generic, cool sounding name for these figures.
The Hulk's new uniform is awesome and even he needs one, that points to the heroes going on a very dangerous journey regardless of whether that's through time or inside the Quantum Realm.
