Avengers: Endgame will feature the original six members of Earth's Mightiest Heroes regrouping to try to bring an end to Thanos once and for all. However, they could have been going into battle without their most powerful member as Mark Ruffalo has now revealed that he actually filmed Bruce Banner's death in
Avengers: Infinity War.
"I didn’t know until I saw the movie," Ruffalo admitted during a recent interview when asked if he was aware from the start that he would return in Endgame. "For one take, I did disappear, and then the other one I didn’t."
"I was pretty sure it was gonna be me," the actor continued. "It’s like Survivor. It’s like, who’s gonna get kicked off the island? And I probably should’ve. It’s like Project Runway for leakers." Chances are that Marvel Studios chose to shoot some fake death scenes to avoid any leaks or spoilers because if everyone died, then it would be harder for those on set to share solid intel online.
Either way, it's interesting to think that Endgame might not have included The Hulk, but chances are the Russo Brothers never actually planned on the Jade Giant not sticking around for the finale.
