We recently told you about the Japanese account for Marvel sharing an image of costumes for Avengers: Infinity War which included the suit worn by Ant-Man. At the time, there was a lot of speculation that it was only there because Ant-Man and The Wasp is set to be released later this year but it now appears as if we have confirmation that Scott Lang will indeed be making an appearance.
As expected, the BBFC has rated the Russo Brothers helmed release a 12A (the British equivalent of a PG-13) and have confirmed that it contains "moderate violence, threat" and has a running time of 149 minutes, 9 seconds. However, in the cast list, Paul Rudd is mentioned as being part of Avengers: Infinity War alongside those we do know will be assembling to do battle with the Mad Titan this month.
We don't know why Marvel has decided to keep his inclusion under wraps but it makes sense that he'll appear here, especially as both Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly's The Wasp will appear in Avengers 4. How do you think Rudd will factor into Avengers: Infinity War? Could his name being mentioned alongside Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Pratt have been a mistake? As always, share your thoughts down below.
