I can't understand a damn word this guy is saying. Then I saw this.

the spider (which has the right held by Fox)

I am just gonna nod my head, not take anything from this interview, and wait for another interview to talk about this topic.

He didn't really answer the question, though, he went off about not owning other franchises, yeah okay, but will [frick]ing Daredevil ever appear on the big screen again? That's what we want to know, it isn't a legal issue obviously. I still think the Defenders should help Spidey if Sony forces Marvel to do Sinister six.
Mrcool210 - 12/6/2015, 5:16 PM
"Integrating THE DEFENDERS Into AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Would Be "Complicated""

No it wouldn't. Thanos threatens the whole universe, Thus there is enough of a threat that the defenders feel they need to help too, they are in new york for god sakes, so either have them fight against thanos or have them be like spider-man was in avengers vs justice league, have them be on the streets saving people.
LeeroyJenkins - 12/6/2015, 5:17 PM
But I want Daredevil vs Thanos!
DeadManDann - 12/6/2015, 5:17 PM
I'm fine with the separation. I feel like including the Netflix characters in a giant, cataclysmic movie would undermine the entire purpose of the Netflix-verse, which is to show a side of the MCU that ISN'T defined by the big guns-- something low-key, with relatively smaller stakes. I mean sure, it could PROBABLY be done properly, but not everything has to intersect.
kaijunexus - 12/6/2015, 5:19 PM
My god...just after we got all of these properties under one umbrella again, it sounds like they've gone and sub-divided them up again. Stupid Perlmutter.
CrimsonFlash - 12/6/2015, 5:20 PM
There is just no way the movie side of Marvel doesn't have the final say so of what characters are in what. Or if not Fegie himself some higher up at Disney certainly does and can make the decision for the TV side of things. I just don't see a world in which the big finale doesn't have everyone in this shared universe show up to fight.
LuisFcknLorenzo - 12/6/2015, 5:22 PM
Best Character in the entire MCU

DeadManDann - 12/6/2015, 5:23 PM
[cont'd] Hell, the Netflix shows are already gonna have to deal with their characters popping in different series, and ultimately in The Defenders, so I'm worried juggling all of that ALONG WITH big-screen appearances would weaken the creative freedom evident in Daredevil and Jessica Jones.
Robin91939 - 12/6/2015, 5:24 PM
The Russos also said that adapting Civil War would be difficult and near impossible this early into the Marvel Cinematic Universe ... Then the title for Captain America 3 came out: Captain America: Civil War.

So, let's wait and see.

dragonator29 - 12/6/2015, 5:27 PM
I would love to see Quake in some capacity at Infinity Wars. I would love to see Daredevil in Spiderman movies.

But these comments are not helping them. The possibilities of crossovers seems to be reduced.

At the least, we getting crossovers within TV. DD S2 seems to have confirmed a likely Luke Cage, JJ crossovers.
BlackPhillip - 12/6/2015, 5:27 PM
I'd keep them away from IW. You need powerful heroes to face against Thanos. These guys, along with Hawkeye and BW, would all be put down with just one slap from the mad titan.
sanyaya - 12/6/2015, 5:30 PM
So marvel biggest threat is marvel themselves. Yikes!
TheRationalNerd - 12/6/2015, 5:30 PM
Netflix is the second best thing that could ever happen to the MCU...

Chekkarma - 12/6/2015, 5:30 PM
So they couldn't do some quick flashes of The Defenders fighting and saving people on the streets, while the Avengers battle Thanos??
Luigi - 12/6/2015, 5:31 PM
I just want any kind of recognition from the movies that the show are canon. Mentioning the Hell's Kitchen bombings and the superhuman fish oil incident along with Hulk's rampages, Sakovia, etc. as reasons for the superhuman registration act seems like it would be simple enough.
Luigi - 12/6/2015, 5:32 PM
@sanyaya You could call it "Marvel's Civil War".
HornySpidey - 12/6/2015, 5:33 PM
@ Mrcool210

That would be cool. But they would need to battle worthy foes. Will Thanos come with an army? Or he is a lone wolf?

ATrueHero1987 - 12/6/2015, 5:35 PM
Really for the IW movies I would be happy if ONE of the Defenders appear in it(I say Luke Cage...or DD)

I think it'd be much easier for them to appear in AOS
HornySpidey - 12/6/2015, 5:36 PM
I hope Thanos works on his own, because it will be different from what we've seen inn the MCU.

But, with the idea of the defenders defending the streets from powerful Thanos followers would be just incredible.
FishyZombie - 12/6/2015, 5:37 PM
it would cost a lot of money and scheduling issues to get every superhero into this movie. I hope it happens, at least Cox's near perfect Daredevil.
HornySpidey - 12/6/2015, 5:38 PM
What if Thanos uses the mind gem on the Inhumans and control them to kill humanity?

Spideyshawn - 12/6/2015, 5:38 PM
Love the Netflix shows but lets be real.Kevin Feige isn't promoting an Ike perlmutter product.
Sephiroth - 12/6/2015, 5:39 PM
I wouldn't be disappointed if any of the Defenders never show up in the films. The films and Netflix shows are great and can both thrive separately.
MrMartyMarvel - 12/6/2015, 5:40 PM
It's [frick]ing Perlmutter, isn't it? Or I guess because Netflix owns partial rights as well? Oh and...

BawbScharf - 12/6/2015, 5:40 PM
It is only a matter of time before Quake gets promoted to movie character. Chloe Bennet has been doing such a great job fleshing out the character, that I think the odds are quite good that, after Infinity Wars and AOS ends, she could very well be a staple of the Avengers team. I think, in time, we will see several television to film promotions ...mostly from the AOS cast at first because of being closely connected to the MCU. The Netflix series might be a longer time coming, but I once the Netflix series is finished, I can see Feige wanting to do a Daredevil film every few years. Same goes for Cage and Iron Fist.

Despite what is said above, I think we are going to get cinematic 'splash page' of the street level heroes holding down the fort in the second Infinity War film. I think if AOS do not appear in the movie, their series finale will most definitely tie into the film ...freeing up Chloe Bennet to be a movie star. #quakeforavengers4

...though I think that Coulson will get his baseball autographed somehow.
HornySpidey - 12/6/2015, 5:40 PM
So much going on in the MCU. That's what I love about it.

TheRationalNerd - 12/6/2015, 5:40 PM
Come on...

Kyos - 12/6/2015, 5:41 PM

KillEmAll - 12/6/2015, 5:41 PM
Oh don't be coy, for Thanos and the masters of evil their going too need everyone. Thanos, Loki, The Return of Red Skull, The Collector, Robin? And whoever else they can drum up.

The Avengers, New Avengers, The Defenders, Shield, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel plus assorted allies.

It's going to be a cenematic battle field and I cannot wait.
KillEmAll - 12/6/2015, 5:42 PM
