Great article...you should do one for DCEU as well...

Thumbed 😊

To keep it fresh....you should choose a character from the McU and disect them....compare them to the comics etc....Also you gonna get less people talking about a monthly video on old news......better to keep it weekly to keep users interested...

@Brainiac13 - I'd love to do that, but I simply just don't have the time, and your first idea, I dunno. I feel like a lot of people are doing that already, I dunno, we'll see...

Thanks for the kind words though! :)

Not Bad. I liked it.

I suggest you to make a podcast. You could call some people here, or some of your friends too. A single person analyzing things sounds....boring. Not only for viewers but also for you.

@dragonator29 - You know what? I might just do that, I've contemplated and thrown around the idea of a podcast of some sort and having other people get involved in this for some time... I just might :)

Thanks for the kind words too!

@Beartastic25 - I read somewhere it has something to do with the rights. Because she's partially owned by Fox still. It could be the case with Spidey as well but I'm leaning more towards them saving him til the opportune moment.

I'm a daily reader of CBM.com and I loved it. When you "requested our permission" I kind of thought it would be an entire recap of all the articles written for the month, but after watching a video only recapping a handful of articles, that lasted over 7 minutes, that might not be a good idea.

One criticism; the background music is too loud. It makes it hard to focus on you're speech. That's a small criticism that won't stop me from watching future installments though.

I noticed a couple commenters saying "this is old news/would be better to do a weekly(sic)". I TOTALLY disagree with that. First of all; it's not in the News section, it's an Editorial, so it's an "Opinion Piece". Secondly; IMHO, it's a [frick]ing brilliant idea for an Opinion Piece because most CBM readers/pretty much all commenters are huge fans of the medium, that have this site bookmarked and check it AT LEAST once a day, most likely multiple times a day, so we expect fresh news and have a tendency to forget the Breaks that have come out prior to the last couple days. That's not because we're a "What have you done recently?" crowd, it's because, fortunately, we are in an era where ALL the major CB companies are putting out quality films(hell, it's becoming a trend to give major motion pictures to CB fan favorite characters that the average consumer has never even heard of.), so theres just SO MUCH "News" readily available, that it's hard to keep track of it all.

What I'm trying to say is; @Fraserb is doing us a great service, at the expense of his higher education, apparently. I, for one, appreciate it. I had forgotten about a couple news articles you mentioned, strictly because, I'm a very busy man. I work 60+ hours a week, and when I'm not working I try to focus my time on my Family, yet I stil make it a point to check this site at least once a day. When I actually do get free time to myself, I'm here, reading up on the current goings on. Sometimes we get slow News Days so I like to check the Editorial section and it's articles like this that seem designed for people like me that catch my attention.

This comment is going way too long so, in closing; I enjoyed your video, and I hope you continue with your plan to make more, but turn the music down just a tad and try to remind us just a little bit more of the News of the Month. Maybe shoot for a 10 minute limit? Most of us will stop watching if we see an Opinion Piece Editorial Video that's longer than 10 minutes. A lot probably won't even last that long, but something tells me you're not taking valuable time out of your day to make videos for those people anyway.

@urnotaslave23 - I don't what to say, thank you sir.

It's comments like these that drive me to push myself and improve with every video I put out. I can't put into words how grateful I am for such a insightful, useful comment!

The reason I only did a handful of headlines is simply because I thought that covering maybe four or five of the main, major headlines in a month would suffice, but I think you may be right to advise that I do more headlines, which is no problem!

I've had a couple comments in my past videos that I put the music too loud sometimes, and I honestly thought I had it this time, but sure, next time the music shall be a tad more quieter.

About the old news thing, yeah I agree whole-heartedly with that, I dunno I just feel that in an era of technology and information, news changing and releasing every hour of every day, I feel like something like 'Marvel Monthly' where we as a community recap the months main news for the MCU would benefit us all.
That and the fact that a weekly/bi-weekly system is just too MUCH for me to handle, I'd break if I did that and I have to make time for myself/family/friends/school.

And yeah thanks for acknowledging the education thing, it is hard, but this stuff I'm doing is what I want to do, so thank you!
(Also 60+ hours a week? Holy sh!t that's high, feel bad for ya)

Lastly, I'll try to add more news headlines, and to shoot for 10 minute videos also. You're right again, I'm not taking out my time for those people who wouldn't make it, it's for those who care about Comic Book Movies, and the Marvel Universe.

Thank you so much, I'll take on board what you've said dude.
Have a nice day! :)
