Possible AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Funko Pop Leak Shows Off Thor's New Weapon

Recent LEGO leaks shed some light on the plot of Avengers: Infinity War and now a Funko Pop figure seemingly offers a closer look at the new weapon Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder will wield in the movie.

It appears as if Thor's journey in Avengers: Infinity War will revolve around finding a new weapon in order to take the fight to Thanos and now what may be a leaked first look at the God of Thunder's Funko Pop figure provides a look at that. As you can see, it bears a striking resemblance to the hammer his comic book counterpart wields in the Ultimate Universe and should be pretty damn powerful!

It is, of course, possible that this Pop has been custom made by a fan but it looks extremely convincing. What's interesting is that the hero isn't wearing an eyepatch but that could be because Marvel didn't clue the company into the fact he'd have one as it was absent from the trailer shown at Comic-Con.

Rumours are swirling about Thor's new weapon in Avengers: Infinity War and one fan theory
points to its handle being made from Groot wood! Whether or not that proves to be the case remains to be seen but it's clear the character is going to continue going through some major changes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We already knew about the weapon, but as for the possibility of him getting his eye back? That's news!

@Prork - I hope he has his eye as just a result of the funko working off of concept art or event just a result of the design of funko (though I think Odin has scuttled eye patch).

I don't see why they want/need to return his eye.

@Prork - Maybe Dr. Strange heals it?

@Prork - Yeah I really don't care one way or another with his eye. It was just not that big of a deal that everyone blew out of proportion to the point where the bigger reveal (him getting his lightning powers) could be spoiled in the trailer yet this apparently made up for it. Him getting his eye back might make people stay quiet about it.

@Origame - He looks better without the eye.

@ForDarkseid - I'm pretty sure Rocket Raccoon can find an eye somewhere.

Man I read a layout of the plot bit by bit and I was hoping it was wrong. If this is legit that means some of it was correct at the very least.. DAMN.

After that opening in Ragnarok where we see all of the awesome ways he could fight with Mjolnir, the Ultimate hammer is going to be a big let down.

@Chewtoy - It was kinda similar to his fight with the frost giants in the first Thor. I think I'll miss that too

I dont mind them making look like Ultimate Thor for one movie, if the Vanity fair images hadnt come out so we know he goes back to original Mjolnir and his cape, I'd have been worried...

But this I dont mind...

@SuperSomething616 - I think they just wanted him to hold his hammer for the photo shoot because Chris Evans was wearing his Winter Soldier suit also.

Come on, Thor. You're the god of thunder not the god of forging weapons.

You walk right up to Thanos and his monsters and slay them all.

to be fair i always thought that the hammer always looked a bit silly in the movies although it looks quite close to the comics

only bad thing is anyone can pick it up and it doesn't come back so thor has to change his style of fighting
RegularPoochie
RegularPoochie - 1/26/2018, 11:05 AM
@knocturnalzen10 - why? It's made the same way that mjolnir was and thor can put a spell to it.

@Poochie - unfortunately jarnbjorn doesn't work that way good sir especially with aspects of magic mjolnir had ......

@knocturnalzen10 - I hope Thor goes full power when he finally reaches Earth to help fight Thanos. Or I could at least see him taking out Black Dwarf and Ebony Maw for killing Loki. Which now makes me wonder if he will still somehow have his ability to fly without the weapon helping him to achieve it?

knocturnalzen10 - 1/26/2018, 12:22 PM
@smgmayhem - yea i'm unsure but i no they bare touch the tip of actually what mjolnir can do like reaping out souls opening black holes etc.... and focused on his power from within .....

actually they should let him go into warrior madness that's his full power or ruin thor would be him at max .... that's when he goes toe to toe with thanos
