The first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is expected to debut one day this week and it's no doubt going to be nothing short of amazing. We're expecting it to be with us by Thursday and while nothing has been made official yet, we're no doubt going to have news on its arrival for you very soon.
In the meantime, the past couple of days has seen the release of some leaked clips from the movie (which were promptly taken down by Disney) alongside four Vanity Fair covers and a series of cast portraits giving us an idea of how the heroes will look not only in Avengers: Infinity War but Avengers 4 as well. Now, we've taken a look at all of that to bring you all of the biggest and best new reveals.
From costume changes to the shocking return of a character who will seemingly die at the hands of Thanos, what you'll find below is an in-depth look at what's to come alongside those new photos!

Thanos Takes Out The Collector
It was at the end of Thor: The Dark World that The Collector was given one of the Infinity Stones by Sif and Heimdall for safe keeping but the fate of that was never made clear in Guardians of the Galaxy. However, we learn here that Thanos knows he has it and the Mad Titan can be seen interrogating him by literally standing with a foot on the chest of the bloodied and battered dealer in cosmic rarities.
Referring to it as the Reality Stone, he makes it clear that he's not messing around and the Guardians are actually watching on as all this happens. They too are clearly on the hunt for the Stones but Drax is far more interested in getting revenge on the man responsible for the murder of his entire family.
Captain America's Super Soldier Outfit
We know that Steve Rogers will be Nomad in Avengers: Infinity War, rocking a tatty version of his Avengers outfit minus any reference to that superhero team or his star-spangled alter-ego. Well, if this photoshoot is any indication, Cap will get the shield back from Iron Man but will wear his Super Soldier outfit he had in The Winter Soldier.
An argument could be made that Marvel just put Chris Evans in this suit to hide whatever he'll actually be wearing in Avengers 4 but why not choose the classic Cap costume over this if that's the case?
Thor May Be Getting His Eye Back...And Mjolnir
Thor lost his eye to Hela in Thor: Ragnarok but could the return of Mjolnir heal the God of Thunder? In this photoshoot, Chris Hemsworth can be seen in his new costume from Avengers: Infinity War, albeit with a cape and Mjolnir in hand. While he still sports a scar on his face, his eye is back and if the time was taken to add a scar, you'd think he'd have his eyepatch as well.
Mjolnir has been spotted in Avengers: Infinity War set photos and Thor getting that back to help assist him in the battle against Thanos makes perfect sense, as does his good looks being restored.
The Black Order
The Falcon can be seen battling a member of Thanos' Black Order (it appears to be Corvus Glaive) in the leaked footage and we then get a shot of Steve Rogers - hidden in shadow - joining the fight.
Hawkeye's New Hairdo
We've known for a while that Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton will get a new look in Avengers 4 but set photos have pointed to him suiting up as Ronin. He can be seen wearing a new Hawkeye costume here, though, so it's feasible that he'll only be Ronin for a very small part of this movie.
Maria Hill (And Nick Fury?) Returns
While this photoshoot was held to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (meaning that not everyone here will necessarily appear in Avengers 4), it looks like Maria Hill - who hasn't been seen since Avengers: Age of Ultron - will be back with a new costume to help Earth's Mightiest Heroes battle Thanos. Nick Fury can also be seen but Samuel L. Jackson has said on a number of occasions that he won't appear in either movie; could it be that he was being dishonest with us?
Valkyrie Gets A More Comic Accurate Appearance
Valkyrie having a role in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 has been rumoured for a while now and we see here that she'll be suiting up for action, albeit with some minor changes made to her appearance. The biggest of those is the addition of two braids, a style closely associated with her comic book counterpart. This may only be a very minor change but it's one sure to make fans happy.
The Vision Behind Bars
The Scarlet Witch can be seen battling an unknown foe in the leaked trailer for Avengers: Infinity War but more intriguing is a shot of The Vision in what appears to be a prison cell of some sort. Could it be that Thanos kidnaps him as he attempts to figure out how to retrieve his Infinity Stone?
The Winter Soldier Gets His Arm Back
The last time we saw Bucky, he had only one arm (after getting it blasted off by Iron Man) and was being put into deep freeze by Black Panther. We've known for a while that The Winter Soldier will appear in Avengers: Infinity War, of course, but T'Challa - or his sister Shuri - has clearly created a new arm for him, something we should have expected. Why does it have the Soviet red star, though?
Black Widow's Awesome New Look
Why Black Widow has chosen to go blonde is something which will presumably be addressed in Avengers: Infinity War but we get a closer look at the character's new appearance here and she's looking pretty damn cool. Still wielding her batons and stingers, her new costume is quite different to previous iterations and actually strikingly similar to what Maria Hill can be seen wearing.
Is it possible that the two of them are working for the same company? If so, what might that be?
Spider-Man's Classic Costume
We know that Spider-Man is going to be rocking that upgraded new suit introduced at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming but if this photoshoot is any indication, he'll be back in the slightly less fancy version by the time Avengers 4 rolls around. Like many other heroes pictured here, though, it's hard to say how much attention we should give to some of the costumes which are shown.
