BLACK PANTHER Star Letitia Wright Says "It's Only A Matter Of Time" Before Female-Led AVENGERS Movie Happens

Avengers: Endgame featured a memorable team-up between Earth's Mightiest (female) Heroes, and actress Letitia Wright has now explained why an all-women Avengers movie isn't a pipe dream after all...

Avengers: Endgame's "A-Force" scene was met with something of a mixed response, and The Boys even decided to poke fun at the sequence during season two. For many, it was an awesome, powerful moment for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's female superheroes, and the hope is that they'll one day get their own movie.

It's no secret that the likes of Brie Larson and Elizabeth Olsen have asked Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige to make that happen, and Black Panther star Letitia Wright has now shared an update.

"I don’t think we have to fight for it," she told Yahoo Movies during a recent interview. "Victoria Alonso is very strong about spearheading it, alongside Kevin. It’s only a matter of time before they do it."

That's definitely something of a positive update, and it seems likely that the next time Earth's Mightiest Heroes assemble, it will be with women at the forefront.

Asked for her dream line-up, she named Black Panther co-stars Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, and Angela Basset, while also suggesting that Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie could be added to the mix. However, she concluded by pointing out that they "definitely have to have Captain Marvel, definitely."

A project like this has a lot of potential, though it's unclear when and where an A-Force movie could factor into Marvel Studios' Phase 4 and 5 plans.

What do you guys think?

But there isn’t an all male avengers movie 🤔

For my objection to this idea, let me put it this way. In universe, why would this happen? There are plenty of effective male heroes all over the universe to be able to deal with whatever issue is going on. Will all the male characters just conveniently not gonna be there? Or will the leader of the team only call women because "muh sexism"? There's a reason why people called the A Force scene in Endgame patronizing. It's because it broke the logic of both the scene and the characters who actually know each other for a "girl power" moment.
