Earlier this week,
AvengersNews.com expanded on a rumor regarding the casting on
90210 actor Kevin Pennington for future Marvel Studios films:
"We’ve been receiving hints from a source that Kevin Pennington is being primed to play Captain Marvel for upcoming Marvel films."
Today, I was contacted by Pennington's manager, Missy Patrick, at Solace Management regarding the constantly circulating rumors about her client. She stated that Pennington
has not been signed by Marvel Studios to portray the character titled 'Captain Marvel,' but that we should hear confirmation of his role soon. She went on to say,
"We are excited that a lot of comic fans are eager to hear about Kevin's role in future comic book films. He does have a lot of readings coming up for other comic book films and studio requests so we are happy the genre is taking a strong interest in him."
