Be easy on me this is my first editorial
OK this what I think is going to happen in The Avengers with Iron Man.
Rhodey taking over as Iron Man.
Black Widow in her Report of Stark said that he wasn't fit for The Avengers Initiative ,So Fury hired him as a consultant and a person more suited for the armor would take over as Iron Man. Rhodey has showed that he works well with the suit, so I think Tony would recommend him for the initiative. There could also be some cameos for other possible replacements for stark such as Carol Danvers
It would follow the comics since He took over the armor in "Demon in the Bottle" storyline.
Stark building the Hulk buster armor.
Well I think the Villain will be Loki and Hulk,to follow the first issue of the avengers.
Throughout the film Stark would be jealous of Rhodey getting all the action so Stark builds secretly the Hulk buster armor. So when the team is in trouble Stark fly's off with the new armor.
Stark as a Recruiter.
Stark would help the avengers by providing them with tech.
Also in TIH Stark is trying to recruit the Hulk in the end,I think this is one of Stark's roles as a consultant so possibly Stark would recruit Hank Pym and his Wife to help him with the tech and the Hulk buster armor
