It's off topic but i'm kind of getting tired of people saying that the avengers cast is getting to big. It should be fairly obvious that most of the roles are gonna go to shield agents and they will have very minor and even probably non speaking roles.

I knew it was too good to be true. I'm a idiot too. I do think that Rick Jones should've been involved from the beginning somehow. He's been involved with just about every one in the marvel universe on some level.It's still gonna be good.

MaddMonkk @ I think gambitfreaks suggestion isn't really too sensible. You're basically asking Marvel to respond to all of the rumours that aren't of their making.

Just not practical and there is a danger of 'killing the golden goose'. AND you can't force people to NOT believe rumours. The guy in that youtube clip was saying he was disappointed because he had HEARD A RUMOUR that mandarin was in Ironman 2 and that ruined the film for him. Well thats his fault - not Marvels.

What could marvel do? If they came out and said Manadarin definitely isn't in it then that would undermine the publicity of the film. Also there is no garantee that people would believe them and think it was a clever marketing ploy. And third they might want to change their minds and then add manadrin in reshoots as a cameo. (Remember when SLJ said he definitely WASN'T in Thor?? And now he has just given an interview where he has spoken that he has a pick up scene he has to shoot for it now?)

The point is that it isn't practical for marvel to keep on top of the rumour mill unless they just come out and tell us EXACTLY what happens in the film. Tho I love my news and rumours and all the hysteria there is a big part of me that thinks movie studios release too much info about their up coming films. Trying to keep Thor spoiler free is harder and harder. I except the risk coming to this site - but I am gonna hold out watching anymore footage of this film if I can muster the self control.

MaddMonkk @ I can understand the disappointment BUT there is a long way to go with this production (we still don't even know who the villains are!) so just brace yourself for all those delights yet to come!
