On Sunday,
Marvel's The Avengers hit the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office and has now entered the top ten list of highest grossing films ever. The past few days have seen it move from #11 to #9, and while it still has a little way to go before it hits the predicted #3 or #4 spot, it shouldn't have too much trouble getting there (depending on how well it performs over the next few weeks).
