Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios' The Avengers became the sixth biggest film of all time on Thursday, climbing its way up with stunning $1.07 billion at the global box office. The big screen adaptation is now Disney's highest-grossing film ever. But there is more. In only 14 days, film has passed the $400M mark domestically, which is a new record.









Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Cobie Smulders, The Avengers is now in theatres!
