Speculation On Hulk & Ultron Possibly to Return in Civil War!

Are the Green Goliath & Robotic Stark set to return in Civil War?

To coincide with the release of Ant-Man, Marvel launched a mocked viral news campaign featuring a fictional WHiH News & Leslie Bibb reprising her role as Christine Everhart interviewing Paul Rudd as Scott Lang & Corey Stoll as Darren Cross for the videos.

Well, as those videos moved along just like any other real news outlet, people seemed to have ignored or skimmed over the information bars / tickers scrolling along the bottom that showcased other "news" worthy items within the MCU which are believed to be a mix of information / reports of what happened in Avengers: Age of Ultron as well as ongoing “news” events in between both Ant-Man & the lead up to Captain America: Civil War.

Just some of the “news” titbits that seemed to scroll past were the whereabouts of Bruce Banner / The Hulk post-Age of Ultron; that the Ultron tech has survived (I had theorised in a previous comment on a previous topic that Ultron would not be a one & done villain); but one of the other most interesting facts that seemed to also scroll along the bottom were that of a headline possibly teasing Spider-Man within the MCU & the mention of a Stark Industries scholarship given out to urban schools (Peter Parker just so happening to receive it by any chance? Thus tying with the possible RDJ Cameo / Mentor role in the Spider-Man reboot) and of course the mention of an unclaimed lotto ticket (which also just so happened to Spidey in the comics).

Well, an eagle eyed Reddit user has not only caught all these references but more that could potentially mean not only Spider-Man’s appearance in Civil War, but maybes Ultron & Hulk & a few other scenarios of characters & things to come further along in the MCU future…..

• ... has resurfaced in eastern europe remain unconfirmed after many thought the organization to be dissolved.

         Other possible comic Spidery reference.

• Biography "The life and times of industrialist Howard Stark" to be published later this year

• Efforts to recover the remaining Ultron technology continue, as components from the advanced robotics are capturing large sums on the black market
    Ultron tech still in use / existence, mentions of the black market lead me to believe that it may even be Andy Serkis’ Ulysses Klaue with his “Hand” on the tech.

Now whilst we know Spider-Man / Tom Holland is set to cameo in Civil War, there has been no mentions of Mark Ruffalo reprising his Bruce Banner role or any stories circulating of James Spader once again voicing Ultron for this movie, so, with that being said will we see all 3 show up in Civil War or are the latter twos references referring to future MCU appearances?

Too early for Ultron to return. Hulk could be a possibility....

Whilst Ultron may not return for Civil War, I kind of get some feeling that Thanos may have some use for him come either Infinity War part 1 or part 2 & think that the Russo's would deliver the more menacing & maniacal threat from him that most people want that they feel Whedon didn't deliver.

Seeing as the AoU version was modelled on / after Stark, perhaps the way to advance him from petulant child like state would be to some how come up with a story behind an advancing Ultron being patterned or modelled by Banner (Seeing as he did have involvement with the Ultron programme himself) or somehow even Pym if there is a possible way.

Ultron in The Russo's hands though could be golden IMO.

@kinghulk, @Comedian03

OK, maybes the Hulk references could be a stretch, but any Ultron tech lying around means he survives if it hasn't been destroyed. And seeing as it will be a loose adaptation of Civil War & not exactly follow its comic book counterpart, it wouldn't be far fetched as using the element of somebody that has Ultron tech in their possession or Ultron tech going around in the black market circles being part of or potential cause of the 'Civil War' because they only ended up with it due to Stark & Banner creating Ultron in the first place, thus, leaving a potential plot point / another reason for people / governments to be Pissed at Stark / Banner / The Avengers & for Cap to be Pissed at Stark & Banner.

LOL @SuperCat, great Gif!

@dragons292014

I was thinking that was probably in reference to the 'Earthquake like' antics of the Hulk & Hulkbuster fight in Johannesburg, but if they used that as a Daisy Johnson reference instead that would be pretty cool.

IMO it's about time they start tying AoS & the Netflix shows to the movies more as Feige seems to hate or be so against that for whatever reason.

@TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan:

Fiege actually supports AoS. Not sure where I read it, but he did sound supporting towards AoS.

And it also seems that this season is trying to set up Civil War, especially with season 3 ending before Civil War release.

And Daisy Johnson reference would be cool. Or maybe we are expecting too much....

TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan- as long as vision is around ultron can be brought back the tech refered to is most likely the remains of all the robots that where destroyed in the battle. after avengers people where dealing chitauri weapons and they are probably dealing ultron weapons now.

and for the record that is the longest username i have ever seen lol

@dragons292014

Agh well, I take that back then. Most articles I've read always seem to say that he & Loeb always seem to butt Heads over things where the movie & TV Division is concerned & restricting on what the TV Division can & can't do.

I still feel there is more restriction on the TV / Netflix shows than there should be though. Both AoS & Daredevil should currently be being used to amp up things for Civil War, Daredevil especially having himself, Punisher & Elektra all at hand that could at least all cameo in Civil War as well.

Hopefully with Season 3 of AoS ending before Civil War, they can use Ward as the tie up HYDRA piece from Ant-Man.

@TMW1987ProudProWrestlingFan:

Can't say that MCTVU is restricted. Both AoS season 2 and Daredevil were their own show, in terms of story telling. They have been adding lore and potential routes for the cinematic universe.

If we are talking in terms of their cinematic appearances, I may agree on that. Though, hopefully, its non-existent. These would just help TV series more.

Till now, there isn't any need or craze to watch the TV series. We aren't talking about using the story elements from the TV series, just tge characters. We have heard that Matt Murdock and Daisy Johnso are from tge samr orphanage. Something subtle like that would work greatly

Though, how awesome it would be if the Secret Warriors are the main reason behind the Civil War.

I definitley think Ultron should return. He was never a one and done character. I think Thanos will use him in Infinity War.

word to the wise, if you think a cool villain might return in a marvel movie, there is a simple way to test your theory. Just ask yourself:

"Is it Loki?"

If the answer is yes, then I have good news, that cool villain will return in a later Marvel movie. If the answer is no, I have some bad news, you'll never see them again.
