After nearly two years of constant work, Mauricio Abril finally unveiled this 6 minute video consisting of over 200 black and white illustrations set to the song Knights of Cydonia by British rock band Muse.

A Gotham Fairytale beautifully tells the story of a grandmother recounting a tale about the dark knight himself to her granddaughter through a sequence of illustrated storyboards.

Mauricio does an amazing job of capturing the essence of Batman whilst creating a truly captivating piece of art that sets an atmosphere like no other.

As of now the video only has 12,000 views so be sure to show your support for Mauricio and like the video.
