Now that Justice League: War has been released to strong reviews, Warner Bros. is beginning to ramp up marketing for their next DC animated property, Son of Batman. A new still featuring Batman (Jason O'Mara) and his son, Damian Wayne (Stuart Allan) has been released, possibly planning an attack on the film's villain, Deathstroke.

Plot: Batman learns that he has a violent, unruly pre-teen son with Talia al Ghul named Damian Wayne who is secretly being raised by Ra's al Ghul and the League of Assassins. When Ra's is apparently killed by the skilled assassin Deathstroke who usurps his position, Bruce must take his newly discovered son into his care and prevent him from murdering the man who has killed his grandfather.

UGH, why did we have to get an animated movie about the worst Robin while also starring one of the coolest bad guys!?

I know it has nothing to do with this picture but I so wish and hope that after B/S comes out in 2016. They make the solo Batman film have his family in it too. The X-Men movies have a huge cast so why can't a Batman film too. I would love to see Nightwing, Oracle, Red Hood, Red Robin, Batgirl, Black Bat & Robin in the movie. I have been patiently waiting to see the extended Batfamily and it's about time WB says it's time. Plus Nightwing's costume has to be blue. But if it will only be red or no Batfamily I sadly and gladly will take that instead.

As for Damien himself I never really cared for his relationship with his dad but liked his with Dick's more. I know crazy but it's true. I do hope with this movie coming out it does hint that the Batfamily will be in the cinematic movies. They don't need to be in B/S but they need to be in the Batman movies.

Definitely looking forward to this one! Damian was my 2nd favorite robin after Nightwing. Still so sad they killed him off in the comics...
