Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One was well-received by fans (you can check out our review by clicking here), but with all those iconic rogues set to take centre stage in Part Two, there's a lot of excitement for that follow-up. In this batch of stills from the movie, many of them receive the spotlight.

As you can see below, Poison Ivy, Mad Hatter, and Scarecrow all look set to make a huge impact in Gotham City, but they'll have to contend with the likes of Harvey Dent and Jim Gordon because they're clearly not going to let their home fall into disarray (and neither is Jensen Ackles' Dark Knight for that matter).

"The Long Halloween, Part Two chronicles the second half of this yearlong crime saga," reads the synopsis for Part Two"As the mysterious Holiday Killer continues their deadly crime spree, District Attorney Harvey Dent is pushed to the brink in his quest to bring justice to Gotham City. As the trailer shows, The Long Halloween is also the origin story of Two-Face."

"Making matters worse, Bruce Wayne has been captured by Poison Ivy, leaving Gotham undefended during its darkest hour. Even mob boss Carmine Falcone is becoming increasingly desperate, striking a Faustian bargain with Gotham's new generation of super-criminals."

Most of Part One's cast will be returning for this sequel, but there are going to be some new additions, including Robin Atkin Downes (The Strain) as both Scarecrow and Thomas Wayne, John DiMaggio (Futurama) as the Mad Hatter, Laila Berzins (Genshin Impact) as Sofia Falcone, Jim Pirri (World of Warcraft) as Sal Maroni, and Zach Callison (The Goldbergs) as Young Bruce Wayne.

Check out these new stills from Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two below:

@dracula - Disagree.

Look at those cheekbones. That chiseled jawline. Those full lips, and pale blue eyes.

Calendar Man is beautiful.

@Reeds2Much - If Calendar Man is ever in a movie, get that actor to play him. Seriously the guy has been in so many superhero stuff. give him a big role

When a fan made video is more accurate to Tim Sale's artwork than an official WB animation production:

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - Nice, but they do need the art to match up with Man Of Tomorrow and JSA WW2. Plus thats less than half a minute, how good would it look if they had to maintain those more detailed designs for 2+ hours

@dracula - They didn't need to make it part of a shared universe. It could have been its own thing like TDKR, Year One, Under The Red Hood, and more recently, Soul of the Dragon, etc. If they wanted to make a Batman film that takes place in the same world as Man of Tomorrow, then they could have came up with an original story instead of taking a beloved comic and warping it to fit their narrative.

That fan made video is no more detailed than the official film and many other DC films that have come before it. In fact, I'd say it even uses less detail than most. It would be easily achievable to make an entire film like that.

@regularmovieguy - Joss Whedon is a true feminist. He proves it time and time again...

...that he looked up the meaning in a dictionairy and thought that's how to write it in (which I also thought was the case with The Nevers)

@bkmeijer - not sure thats real. Did a quick search, only found one Joss Whedon on twitter, that is not his icon and he doesnt seem to have posted anything since 2020

@dracula - yeah I thought as much. Still, I stick to my argument. Those first two episodes of The Nevers were painful to watch at times

@bkmeijer

I never started The Nevers. The promotion for it never really hooked me and one of my buds stopped watching after two episodes.

@dracula

This was a joke haha it’s a meme.

@regularmovieguy - I totally get why you didn't start and your mates stopped. Only the first 15 minutes or so of the sixth episode really hooked me. You didn't miss a lot.

And also, the meme is funny because (the way I take it) its true

@bkmeijer - Havent watched it yet. Doubt it will be on par with Buffy, Angel and Firefly or even Dollhouse, but still hoping for something good. Personally dont care if its feminist or not, just looking for a good show

@dracula - well, I didn't even like it that much during my watchthrough. In hindsight the episode 6 opening offers a lot of context that fixes some of the issues, but my recommendation now would be just wait until season 2 and see if it has improved by then.
