Bleeding Cool reports that DC Comics has trademarked an image described as
"Nightwing on a bat", nobody knows what this looks like exactly but the logo that appears on the covers of the Nightwing comic certainly comes to mind! What does this mean?
Recently Nightwing has been getting a lot of attention across the entire spectrum from all kinds of media. Coming to the forefront in comics with a very "character-defining" arc in Forever Evil, proving to be an ever popular character in animation and games, and even being rumored to appear in Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman Vs. Superman as well as the CW's Arrow.
It goes without saying that the name "Nightwing" on top of the Batman logo will cause anyone looking at it to see the link with his far more well known former mentor.
What do you think? Is it safe to say by now that at least
something is coming up for the world's best acrobat, although we cannot say for sure what? Is this part of the "big push" Geoff Johns said is in store for the character?
