Eddie Murphy Denies Riddler Rumors

One of the stupidest rumors for the next Batman movie has been officially squashed by Eddie himself.

It was probably one of the stupidest rumors to date for the Batman franchise but a story broke on THE SUN last week saying that Eddie Murphy was going to play The Riddler and today the rumor is squashed.

I have no idea why Eddie Murphy felt the need to come out and deny this rumor since it was clearly not true but at least that ship has now sailed. ON a side note the same story has Shia Labeouf and Rachel Weisz in the film as Robin and Catwoman. Safe to say those two are untrue as well

But... But... But... his source was reliable... it was the same as the one who told him about Craig as 007... sob... tear.

Of course Eddie's gonna come out and debunk it! His press agent told him too because he had his own fans turning on him because he would massacre the role of the riddler!

No, I think the Undead Rachel/Catwoman zombie thing MTV published took the cake. The big huge, multi-layered wedding cake that united bad sources with stupidity. Yeah...

Until these stupid rumors stop, maybe I should just...idk...pretend the batman franchise doesn't exist for a while...and focus on Star Trek the way everyone else is focusing on Spirit and Watchmen, you know? Cause this is driving me. Batty. Completely. I'm tired of it.

Oh well. I don't like Shia anyway, and I can't picture Eddie as the riddler.

At least this isn't as bad as Jack Black as GL, ya'll.

As a fan, if a rumor has any chance of being true, I wouldn't start bashing right away. I thought Ledger was the last person I'd want to play The Joker. I could have thought of 1000 other actors to play that role. But, once I saw the trailers and read the articles about how he was coming along, I couldn't wait. At this point, I say that whatever Nolan has envisioned is probably going to be kick @$$!

some comic book characters can be what ever ethnicity they want but the riddler is white. Catwoman I don't care as long as she's hot, will smith couldn't have been superman either. Will agrees.

thank god! but all 3 of thoughs caricters should be in the movie and who needs bale I think they could find some one else.
