Hello everyone,

This is a very serious editorial today regarding one of my favorite actors and one of my favorite comic book characters.

Batman. He is the darkest thing you will ever encounter in the night, unless your in Africa. He is the most hardcore and ass kicking type hero who would do anything to take you down to the river. He wants justice and he is constantly hungry for it like a wild chomper. He never sleeps, he never shits, and he ain't got no shits to give for. He will stare you cold in the eyes until you bleed from your fiery heart. His cape is the very shadow of his figure. His voice will taint and haunt your nightmares till the day you go back in time to when you were born. The crusader. He is Batman.

Idris Elba. Brilliant black actor. Known for intelligent and powerful roles. His voice is like coffee and cream and as smooth as ice. Looks great in a suit and looks like a million bucks. A tall figure. Keen senses as seen in the show Luther, the brilliant detective. Has dared before to play a role that was meant for a white man and that is Hiemdall which many fans soon accepted for what it was. The black king of epic blockbuster films. He was in Pacific Rim. He is Idris Elba.

If the world was ready to have and accept a black Batman, he would come in the form of Idris Elba. He would become the real dark knight we need. I have laid out a series of consistent reasons for you to consider.

1. If Robert Downey Jr played a black guy in Tropic Thunder, then why can't Idris Elba play Batman?

- If people accepted the idea of Robert Downey Jr a white guy in black face and acting black then why would a concept as such a black Batman a role known in a standard white role, why would it be hard to understand. Batman isn't as such a one dimensional race geared character. Batman is the type of every man of sorts hero. A vigilante who wants justice against crime and rages war against crime, a character as such in that definition shouldn't be limited or looked on as one race particular. Comic books set those standards back in the old days because main heroes in a different race weren't looked upon as much as white heroes. This isn't the old days anymore this is the 21st century we are living in. This isn't difficult or hard to understand yet it still causes controversy for what reasons I have no idea. The same reasons why Batman was white was the same reason why Superman was white, it was just some old time standard they implanted on them. Superman an alien, should the color of his skin only be white just because someone made him that. Same goes for Batman.

2. Idris Elba knows his characters and his range of limits

- Idris Elba, from the fantastic hero we root for of the menacing man behind the scenes. He can come off as it all. He plays a fantastic detective similar to Batman in the show Luther. Tons of starting action roles where he was right up and center, sometimes coming out as certainly one of the best characters. Can play a hardened boss as such his role in Pacific Rim. To guarding the Bifrost Bridge as Heimdall in the movie Thor. To this year also playing the role of legendary icon Nelson Mandella in the film Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom. Once he gets a role he knows it.

3. He knows how to wear a suit

- When it comes to the role of Bruce Wayne you got to look the part of a billionaire most importantly. You have to wear that suit like James Bond and give yourself a unique approach. Idris Elba has already got that down. To be a billionaire most importantly you have to be a smooth talker, Idris Elba already has that down.

4. The character has to come out like a skilled fighter and proficient in knowledge

Batman has gone through years of fighting and exceptional training in martial arts. He needs to be brute with force and can't exaggerate at the last minute. He needs to be knowledgeable too. Presenting Idris Elba who can excellently emote all of that in one.

Now is the time and now is the century to take all this into consideration. If we want a major change to happen for good in the world of comic book films this needs to happen. Thank you for reading. I'm Jacky, and I will also like to give credit to SPIDERMANFAN99 for this amazing idea that needs to come in realization.
