Now I have no complaints about the new poster we saw for TDKR but I think that we can all agree that in general, official movie posters lack some imagination - putting it mildly. But we have started to see a bit more thought put into them now (check out this IMAX Poster for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol) so maybe some of our upcoming CBMs will follow suit. For now though, here is the latest fan effort..

Neo, well yeah kinda! But how much more effective is it? Compare the poster above to that eyesore Ghost Rider poster below. I know which one i'd rather have on my wall.

Instead, minimalist posters are harder to make. Thinking about the concept can be sometimes frustrating, and it requires a lot of carefulness in making. At least as far as I've experienced, lol. But that one is a good example of it, pretty damn creative.

Definitely the best minimal poster seen in a while. It's frustrating when people take minimalist to mean "just a logo"
