Hard for me to even get excited over a DC property anymore. This film won't exist within the DCEU(thank god) but also won't exist with the Matt Reeves stand-alone Batman reboot neither. We will be getting a Jared Leto Joker film as well. It's overkill.

I'm hoping this Joker film will be a more gothic. I thought The Dark Knight trilogy was dark and gritty, but not really gothic at all. I kinda miss the twisted towers and steampunk vibe from Tim Burton's movies, which i think would also lend itslef easier to a more fantastical DC setting.
