Joseph Gordon-Levitt refused to confirm or deny reports he will play The Riddler in Batman 3.
The "Inception" star was excited to have worked with director Christopher Nolan on his latest thriller. When asked if he would appear as the new villain in the director's next big screen installment of the caped crusader's adventures, he laughed: "Rumors, rumors!"
At the world premiere of "Inception" in London, Joseph said: "Chris Nolan man. I've admired him since he put out 'Memento' and I've followed his work since he put out 'Insomnia' and 'The Prestige' and 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight,' he's one of my favorite [filmmakers] so to be a part of his film has meant a lot to me."
The film tells the story of a team of thieves who enter dreams to steal ideas.
Joseph said: "It was like getting inside of his mind. This movie, I think is very personal to him. He's been working on it for ten years. It's a beautiful thing to see because most movies of this scale, huge summer blockbusters, they're not really personal to anybody, they're more like the results of market research and business strategy, but Inception is the gem out of the mind of a master storyteller."
