Hey Folks,

Below we have some new photos from today’s shoot in London, for “The Dark Knight Rises"! The photos clearly show two GPD (Gotham Police Department) vehicles, being loaded onto a truck... Most likely being transported to the shoot. Must have been a pain, getting that S.W.A.T. car out of the river ;)

I hope we see the cops chasing Batman in the film it's too big an opportunity for action to waste.

I noticed in TDK that the cops had different abbreviations, G.C.P.D and G.P.D. I always thought it was supposed to be G.C.P.D since it is Gotham City Police Department. But I guess they decided to go with G.P.D. =/

Nice find. Can't wait to see this film.

TDK made the cops look pretty useless, considering Joker basically played the entire force and they were powerless to stop him. Imagine Bat's didnt show up? The mayor woulda been dead, they never woulda saved Harvey when they were transporting him and Joker would prolly still be on the rampage. I doubt the cops will be going after Bats...what's the point?

I really love batman taking on the cops,it was great to see that in batman begins and now that bats is a fugitive he'll get to kick Gotham PD ass again :)

I hope they will be an awesome chase scene like in BB with the cops.lol that was awesome and funny :)

this will rock when it comes out, batman taking on Bane and GPD and the introduction of catwoman and possibly even talia and the league of shadows.

I became huge fan of Bane after the Knightfall series in comics, because he did what no villain not even the joker could do.I also firmly believed that if TDKR to have even the slightest chance of been better than TDK it should be Bane as the villain to up the stakes, not only in strategic thinking but also physically.

my biggest CBM for the year (but honestly I'm biased towards batman anyway because he is my favorite comic book character no 1)I only hate batman forever and batman and robin, but then again the entire world hate those 2 movies :)

@ Elguason - Don't hold your breath, mate!
With the amount of money TDK made, I doubt the powers that be are going to say "Yeah, let's do this one in pink!"

By the way, what was it you didn't like about TDK?

@ continuezero - Too right the police were useless against the Joker. He was a criminal mastermind who was on an equal pegging with Batman in terms of intellect, if not higher. It also made having Batman around an absolute necessity if the Joker were to be taken down. The Joker played with the police much like Hannibal Lecter did in Silence of the Lambs.
Even real life psychopaths have run rings around various police forces; The Zodiac Killer, Dennis Rader, Edward Kemper, The Krays etc. I thought the Joker in The Dark Knight was the kind of character that can exist in real life, chelsea smile and everything.

@ batmanbruce - I agree with everything you wrote mate ,except the Talia thing. I find it extremely unlikely she'll be in it (there's no evidence). I reckon it's possible Bane could be leading the League of Shadows, but I find it more probable Bane will be a "prior-to-Bruce-Wayne" protege of Ra's and he's seeking vengeance because of the death of Ra's and the destruction of the League, or something to that effect.
