Nightwing is currently in the works from director Chris McKay but we've heard nothing about casting or even a single rumour about who's being considered for the role of Dick Grayson. Well, the filmmaker has now taken to Twitter to provide an update on where things stand and it sounds like his main priority is finding the right person to play the fan-favourite comic book character in this movie.

There's been a lot of speculation that whoever winds up playing Nightwing will ultimately replace Ben Affleck as Batman so you can see why McKay is putting a lot of work into this decision. Even if that isn't the case, it's not an easy part to cast and it's good that a great deal of work is being put into the script.

It remains to be seen when we'll finally get some solid news about Nightwing but chances are it won't start shooting until late next year or early 2019. That means we could be waiting a while for updates on both the story and cast but feel free to let us know who you'd like to see play Dick in the usual place.
